Most people's first experience with ESO is that god awful release. Followed by terrible introductory experience. Exacerbated by decisions that were detrimental to just basic Quality of Life experiences, like a f'n Map, no mods etc. I am not surprised at all that people never looked back at it...
I would much rather block big abilities rather than have DBM pop up and tell me to use my defensive. But to be fair, some tank roles are just better suited to one playstyle over the other. Some like Tera, some with a mix like eso, and some similar to WoW. I'd personally like to see a game...
At that ilvl, thats pretty good. Just simply improving your item level and perfecting your stats will get you a higher base line. Keep in mind that this late in the season, people are already in their 220's, which in comparison.. theyre a god to you. The difference between 195 and 220 is...
True. My mind has passively blocked out my worst days in MOS or Basic, but as ATC I never got hazed after the fact. On the opposite side, I remember the dumb shit we did. We paid some ass clown to put Icy Hot on his ass/balls just because. The dude dragged his ass across the floor in pain...
Ive met a couple people that have the accent and the low monotone voice in my small little area of Virginia. I cant imagine they cant find someone that doesnt sound similar, especially considering he never removes his helmet.
Temuera is one of those guys that looks fat/strong, not that he is -...
Gina was getting fat for her role, true. But Amy Schumer? I cant even reason with how her look will match that type of persona as a replacement. Last I saw her, she was just as chunky if not more so.
I go out of my way sometimes to ignore other shit just so I can make sure I stun that bitch each time cause Im afraid if I dont, then no one will.
But you did bring up a rocket star point - I dont know what the fk I can stun and what I cant half the time. At least interrupts show as a...
When I'm thinking of mechanics to add/change, I'm not necessarily thinking about the keys past 12+. What I want the dev's to figure out is how to get the players that don't focus interrupts to start doing so. Whether by baby steps or otherwise. It really doesn't affect you or I, but whenever...
I'm only an episode in, but it's this weird magic tongue in cheek show. Im not sure how I feel about it in just one episode, but so far its good enough to mention. Comes on AMC, or you can just boot leg it pretty easy.

Now that you mention it, I believe they did have something similar. But like you.. I didn't stay around very long in that game past max level either.
Im sure the conversation comes up periodically between devs among several MMO's. There's just no clear answer on how to teach what is likely a...
There was a discussion on reddit about how they could make interrupts more widely used. A bunch of people were on the boat for getting a DPS boost out of it, which is a good idea. But I also think there should be much more punishing mechanics for some mobs. I want to see an NPC that casts a...
There are tons. It amazes me how bad some people are. G/f has been playing one or two days a week for about a month now. Finally have her ilvl up to the 180’s without me bankrolling her. With as little as she plays games, and as new to Wow as she is - I still end up healing people in groups more...
I understand what you're saying, I want my shield to look at the ready. But I think they are basing more off of the reality / historic accuracy of the weight of the shield. A historically accurate shield, even a lightweight one was heavy af.
I would be willing to be that they are almost two different audiences. Especially when you add controller support into the mix. General Chat in both games is almost entirely different for reference. People in FFXIV are the most understanding, forgiving people Ive ever ran across in a game.
Depends on who you ask. The bosses imo aren’t the difficult parts of the dungeons. Raiding this tier I’ve stepped out completely but the complaints, even from the bleeding edge were loud and clear.
I’ve always thought WOW should have been the mmo that offered content on a 3 month rotation. But...
I could go back and do some things differently, or finish up some projects... but as soon as I got to that point I kind of lost desire to play the game. Best believe if/when they drop some more content, Im opening it back up though.
I'm always interested in a new MMO. Simply put, if there is more competition with a higher quality... then even if I dont like it personally, it will filter over to the MMO's I do enjoy and make them (hopefully of course) step up their game.
Whenever I ended up training to the entrance, I was usually annoyed that my group was wiping. But seeing all the people at entrance thinking theyre safe enough to afk there always made me feel better.
I think Im going to come back to playing this soon myself. I spent the last week of my monthly sub to play AC Valhalla to play this and I was kind of torn for leaving it when I did.
The vampire thing was what I was trying to figure out right before I left for the ffxiv patch. Lots and lots of reading for that. Im not entirely sure I like the class that I was playing though. I usually play a tank in mmo's but the tanking in ESO seems a bit more nuanced than what Im used to...
How many matrix buildings do you guys have going? Im just at this point in the game where I feel like it takes entirely too long to go up the tech tree. I just left the game on with an inventory full of red/blue hashes and when I came back.. I still wasnt very far. I have 4x3 at the moment at...
Although the covenants are neat in their own way, they could have used that time to develop content thats for everyone. Then on top of that you have covenant specific quests and areas that are tied up in each covenants anima conductor. But even after that, as @Kaige said, there are still areas...
@Xerge, What kind of changes are you excited about? Has much came out at all?
Trailer
Some other changes that are on PTS (I think?)
CP Changes
Class Changes etc.
The Realm brings back some crazy memories from when I was a kid. My mom always kicking me off the phone line every time there was some update and I think I was at 28.8kbps. Going through AOL discs for free time repeatedly. Getting online finally, killing some bats and then some lvl 1000 or...
I get what they were trying to go for in a sense - "how do you blend an AC game into a Viking setting?" Dive should have been a quest you got in the first 10 minutes, not 15 hours. Assassination kills should be baseline, not a talent or skill choice. etc. etc. I could pick this game apart, but...
You can go back to Norway soon enough. Getting the arrow skill that blows up walls ASAP will speed you up tremendously believe it or not.
Also, you can seek out different 2 handed weapons. Weapon List.
