Magic Smithing is one I've been enjoying. Updates slow but the last chapter really progressed the story a lot.

    Monster Hunter (2020)

This movie will have more story than the game does tho. Not even kidding.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Whole lot of GTA going on in the trailer.

    Job Hunting

I'm willing to yolo it some here. Moving into my current job was one of my best career decisions yet. I was given projects and responsibilities far beyond my skill level that really expanded by experience.

    Monster Hunter (2020)

This will be dumb fun. It better have a hunting horn in it.

    What did you just read?

I was not a fan of Inspector Gamache and I generally like whodunits. John D. MacDonald's Travis McGee series is my favorite whodunit. Although it barely fits the criteria. I'd also recommend Tim Dorsey for supreme luls along with a very fascinating and accurate history about Florida. And while...

I got the moonpie guel coming. Got tired of tangy flavors so let's see if it's gross or not!

Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

This is much less of a problem than you think. Although it certainly is a problem. For those that don't replay games and closely follow guides they may not even stumble upon the non-combat options. Friend of mine played through all of Dragon Age: Origins as if it was an ARPG for example because...

I don't mind the Zach chapters. The author is actually really good about regularly shifting perspectives. I even like his random interludes about other characters in the overworld. I like the introduction to the highrankers and I look forward to the one on Gemheart. Who seems to be the most...

They just need to adjust weights/strength and shit. Pussy warlock/sorcerer shouldn't be able to shove a 2 ton minotaur at all without some kind of major crit or something.

Even Amy and Kaito will be getting them though. Eventually. He said so.

He Who Fights with Monsters is really fucking up the family reunion. One it's taking too long. Two he's condensing completely unforgivable family actions too quickly. The last chapter on RR just had him talk to his Mom. Who more or less intentionally orchestrated the older brother and his...

Logical conclusion is that the dude gets results so they ignore how much of an annoying person he is.

    Job Hunting

Okay so I am done with my round of, "practice" interviews before I do real job hunting. Had two successes in my casual perusal. Healthcare job as a data engineer (they call it BigData API Consultant but whatever) -> $150k contract 18 months. Data Engineer for Masonite -> 90 days contract to...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

Cool idea. I'll casually observe it's progress. And on that note I agree. Keeping the lore intentionally vague but recognizable (high fantasy) is ideal for immersion and character establishment. This is why DND has done it forever.

I really hope they have a full campaign editor too. Think of the modules! The other newer CRPGs have them so I certainly hope so. Kingmaker is supposed to have one coming or something?

Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

Combat is fun and all and but the glory of tabletop is that you can have absurd fun and tons of dice rolling without swinging some swords around. That kind of guy at the table is just going to be a murderhobo which is the bane of many campaigns.
