Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

I'm kind of curious what they will end up doing for a major arc. They have a ton of options, but they could also just putz around with mini-arcs or adventures until they decide on something that would extend through multiple expansions.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

They've hinted that at some point, they might do something that basically lets you go post-Endwalker storywise as a starting new character.

I had this thing drop - it slaps pretty hard with a Blight bullet build. It you can land crit headshots, you melt bosses. Except the feral shaman super boss - fuck that guy.

It is, but if people really hate it, they can at least skip the cutscenes (which make up like 90% of the runtime of those quests)

"For Stormblood relic, you must grind in Eureka. It is basically an early 2000s throwback and the level is boring as fuck" "OK!" "For Shadowbringers, you must grind again. It isn't as bad as Eureka, but we're going to gate some relic parts behind instances raids that it can be hard to find...

I wonder if the branched story mode dungeon will work like the SWTOR dungeons used to work - you get to a point and the party had to vote on a choice, which influenced how the story unfolded.

Uh, Star Trek has always been "weekly moral story in space" since ToS.

    The Umbrella Academy

I don't think Diego unlocked his full potential in S2 beyond the opening when everyone was basically S-Tier power usage. That being said, his powers barely seemed to be used in S3. Lila copying his powers seemed to be doing more than what Diego was actually doing.

    The Umbrella Academy

In a 1v1 situation a lot of them were weak, but Sparrows had some good support heroes. Like the spit girl could basically CC enemies in the hallucination until other people on her team were ready to attack. The attack reflect guy seems inconsistent - like Diego attacked him and got hurt...

    Outriders (Squeenix looter shooter)

I beat the main story in this - I would estimate it is probably around 1/4th or 1/5th the length of the original game, if that. It essentially resolves most of the stuff leftover from the end of the original game. It feels like it has a bit of finality to it, although it leaves enough of a...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

I do agree that the game was pretty innovative for a BR. Honestly I think that if they had used those game mechanics, but had Avatar: Last Airbender IP to go with it, it would have been a massive success. The combat sort of felt like stuff from Avatar and the mass market would have eaten that...

    Ashes of Creation

Better than Alpha 1, although clearly still needs work The idea of adding weight to the different weapon types is good and the combat seems fast paced. One thing that stood out though is some of the special attacks seemed to be weapon agnostic- like he did the bladestorm using daggers, plus...

    Overwatch 2

This explains a lot. In comp, usually female players didn't use voice coms that often unless they knew the players, because comp was always filled with the most toxic shitheads playing OW. You're getting triggered about a Mad Max wasteland themed hero. Pretty pathetic hill to die on

    Overwatch 2

I mean, they are going for a Mad Max/Post-Apocalyptic raider motif (I mean Junkertown is basically Thunderdome), so it fits that.

    Overwatch 2

I'm especially confused about the teleport nerf - so now they can only stay up 10 seconds then get deleted? It never struck me as super OP in it's old form since the range was limited

Except here is the thing: Activision-Blizzard had previously submitted a patent that essentially boils down to online game matching that ensures people who spend money on the game get matched with players who do not spend money on the game. Whales getting matched with f2p plebs is intentional...

    The Umbrella Academy

I feel like Netflix is hurting themselves by mass releasing these major tentpole series - shows like Stranger Things or Witcher or Umbrella Academy will get a flurry of attention for like a week or two, then they fall off the awareness radar of the population at large.

    Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

I suspect ending that plotline had a practical component: They had setup a storyline with a child that, in theory, doesn't age because they are in the transporter buffer. But seasons take time to make and kids grow up fast, so unless you wanted a "Carl" effect like in Walking Dead, so your...

JP1 worked storywise because the first JP book was pretty solid and they more or less just followed that blueprint, with just making a few creative liberties here and there.

    Beavis and Butt-head

Movie was decent and probably on the same level as B&B Do America (although less music, there were only like 2-3 scenes with music that stood out) - they didn't really capitalize on B&B in the modern era besides smart phones and them wandering into some feminism class at a college, although...

The crab definitely had bad intentions for the island - it wanted to feed it's brood and it clearly had no qualms about brutally eating people alive.
