Recently started playing through Squadrons in VR and have enjoyed the first few missions. It's been fun occasionally co-op in the fleet battles with friends, just so shallow. Disappointing overall but have been able to extract some fun from it.

That youtube channel just cranks out trailers with via existing footage and call them 'trailer concepts' but title them as if they're actual releases, and bury the concept admission in the description.

He was a super big dick when they first implemented him. His whole fight was 'dont dps him during this phase, now dont dps him during this phase, OK NOW DPS HIM OR YOU INSTANTLY LOSE WITH NO NOTIFICATION THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING' I put it down for a couple months after that.

Actually tossed a ticket at them asking about this - Empowered Battle Pass is per server, Boon of Plenty appears to be per character.

I really enjoy yoloing into it with different map types, like making a ribbon world where the height of the world is just a few screen lengths. Then lets you wall things off completely and push a boundary forward if you want. Just creates a different type of game in some respects.

I played a couple of short sessions yesterday, and today those characters are gone on mobile. Anyone experience anything like this? Picking a server I see friends on them, but doesn't say I have characters anywhere. :| Edit: looks like my server changed and I have to figure out what server...

I love all the characters, they bring such different options to the game. Cat and dog the simpler of them, as they were there at launch. Think I'm sitting at 125 hours or so in this. Would be more but one of my friend's isn't a fan... he says it puts him to sleep, which just means he's not...

About halfway through this, I've enjoyed a lot of the recaps by some experienced pilots. The mission is addressed (the high-G + laser pod + high G egress) as well @Tuco - plausible and consisted of things they train for at Fallon.

Yeah, this and Tower Tactics: Liberation have been my ADHD 'can't decide what to play' go-to games of late. 21 hours... of roguelike peggle. I'll end up with 50+ over the next couple months I bet. They're about to add more characters to play also...

The PS Plus Collection is a PS5 perk (and still advertised as such on the revised PS+ site), God of War is a PS4 game, so this is making it available for everyone.

Yeah this could use some work. You've never been able to see further than on this new map with it's deep river-carved valleys, and they're fogging things and just blanking the terrain at some point in the distance and still my performance isn't what I'd hope it would be.

Last week they released another 8km x 8km map, doubling the area to do missions in and built with lessons learned from the first. They continue to add meaningful updates every Thursday night since release... Updated weather, more crafting options, new missions, creatures and world boss(es)...

Really good movie for my first 4DX experience. Enjoyed both the 4DX and the movie, wasn't sure what to expect exactly when I sat down and saw this, lol: It even snowed in the theater at one point.

The Series X is just the 4k/high performance option for console gaming in the MS ecosystem. MS doesn't care where you play their games, just wants you into the ecosystem, be that via console, PC, mobile, etc. So you have access to their first party releases on PC now. Not having a console just...

Looks like Sony's read the room, users reporting different pricing now.

That's pretty consistent w/ MS's stated strategy of no console generations, etc. New hardware iterations every 4-5 years. Sony has seemed to match that cadence but they've never really come out with a plan or vision for their consoles and ecosystem iirc.

What's wild is they're clawing back discounts. If you bought PS+ on sale at Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, etc they're charging you more to upgrade to the higher tiers. This is going to be a PR shitstorm and affects far more than anyone account stacking. It will say on your account now 'PlayStation...

Experience is fine to great on all these services, but largely depends on your own connection. I've been able to play through my entire rookie season on MLB The Show on Xbox Game Streaming with no issues. A game where you have to time a pitching meter, etc.
