Yeah, friends have been really active lately too, so even if I had committed to one I'd have almost no time put in because we're playing AoE, Phasmo, Elements TD, Gloomhaven, etc almost every night.

Think that's up to you, there's a lot of content creators that play this solo. Obviously that's to play w/ their chat, etc, but it's doable if it's your thing. You can also join random rooms, just usual caveats apply about playing online games w/ randoms.

I can see that. Season one felt relatively focused, and IMO season 3 feels very similar to the first out of the gate, almost seeming too simple in some respects. You just know some of this shit is going to blow up in some (all) of their faces and take us some wild directions.

I have very low expectations for the PSVR2. Even with VR now being 'mainstream', they're going to release an expensive, wired HMD - the opposite of why the Quest line have brought VR to where it's at today. I love the medium, just don't expect the games to be there to justify a premium HMD...
