Yeah it's one of the few home theater in a box solutions I actually have considered. It got really good reviews from Andrew Robinson. I'm skeptical of active speakers though. It's my own issue lol.

The second link is really legit. Works good for stereo listening too. You will probably want the sub with it though and that costs extra. Their 3D imaging is probably the best in the business. If you can get a good price on the first it's probably worth it compared to what you were looking at...

That would cover most of your home theater needs, since not a lot of audio tracks use the rear speakers in streaming, though it's super cool when they do. That being said you will need something to power those and if it's for home theater you may end up wanting a subwoofer. Try it with out one...
