They have posted a state of the game thing and some changes are coming. But i think Nick has streamed the patch changes for the last couple at the very least. Zbrushed is doing alpha giveaways now too if you're really looking to get in.

Some of the grump seems to be a disconnect in class identity. There's a segment that want eg Raistlin. A frail ass wizard who drops huge nukes then goes back to coughing blood. What they're getting is Gandalf wading into mobs hacking away with a sword with some occasional flashes of magic.

They really glommed onto that idea for wiz and don't want to let it go. That said, they don't seem to be happy about actually needing you to run in and melee too much. There's been talk about having the offhad stave be a ranged attack of some sort. But none of that has been implemented yet.

There's nothing quite as OP as stun immunity as an option at the moment. There is a stun resist passive., and i still think the break $MAGIC effect clicky trait is still really strong, but the slippery trait, and maybe even the stone skin one seem like they may end up being decent choices in...

Deep dwarves are probably quite a ways out. It's DE and DG coming in the first batch. Then Trolls and ?Lizzards? maybe in the second. That's all i've seen mentioned for races release scheduling. I could maybe see HE and DD being thematic enemies and releasing in the last batch. Plus rats...

Seemed like it, but I didn't pay attention to the humans. Humans being lame and all. Also looks like picking class adds +5 to 2 or 3 stats from the race selected.

You can kill Noel around level 3 pretty easy. Just have to be smart where you engage him. In the tower is a bit of a cluster. But one of the stair landings worked for me. Or outside the inn.

For necro/sk there is a quest in their building for a smallish bag with some skelly parts too. Otherwise starting with the survival boost is pretty good for their bag. It seems to be the most generally handy, unless you are gonna hop right into a different trade skill.

It’s wizards. Spellblade is a self proc that grants an insta cast at 5. They get the aura for +magic dmg tho.

the stacking spellblade thing is self only i think. And it doesn't stack with the aura. Or it didn't, so a bit of a meme. But I do like the class regardless. Might try and get the dungeon ghosts for the last step of my class quest. Most of my guys are on Krivea .
