For necro/sk there is a quest in their building for a smallish bag with some skelly parts too. Otherwise starting with the survival boost is pretty good for their bag. It seems to be the most generally handy, unless you are gonna hop right into a different trade skill.

Survivalist is nice starting out but don't forget you can train it for 1 copper near the north gate.

You'll easily get 25 skill ups doing torches and bandages.

More for the bag than the actual skill really.

I understand, im just saying I dont think its worth taking over something else when you can skill it up pretty quickly yourself. Even at 6 I was able to buy most bags I needed from the vendor.

What goes in those bags? I've tried the one that holds wood and resin, and the mining one that holds gems and ore.
Everything medium and below fits in the Tailoring/LW/Enchanting bags. This includes the ones off the vendors and the ones they give if you pick the minor trait.

Btw has anyone been working on their class quests? The first few are simple but they get really obscure later I still am not sure if they are implemented or just no ones discovered solutions yet

The enchanter unlawful line is brutal at early levels. Toughest one I've done.
