No, their running attack was considered super innovative. I'm wondering whether Roman or Harbaugh actually knew how to coach a passing attack.

I think you did and I think I said I know nothing about ducks but generally you don't want to sous-vide whole poultry because of the different rates the white and dark meats cook. No idea of it applies to duck or not.

The New England Patriots 2014 Playoffs Thread

Seattle's biggest obstacle to the Super Bowl was yesterday and falling for the trap game. Anyone who thinks any of the teams left stand any chance of beating them is delusional. Green Bay stands zero chance of going into C-Link and winning that game. Aaron Rodgers still won't be healthy, that...

Made a stew last night very similar to this recipe using my homebrewed Burbon-Oak Aged Stout in the stew, was delicious. Had some local beef for the stew meat that practically melted in your mouth. My potato and carrot chunks were way to big though, only complaint.

Tough to say. I live a couple blocks from my parents and see them almost daily. They are more like peers than parents now that I am older but part of that might be because they had me relatively young (19/23) so we can still relate to each other. For what it is worth all my friends also love...

I've always wondered if the people saying "kids will change your life so much and it will be really hard but it is all totally worth it" actually believed that or were perpetuating some sort of cruel hazing ritual that only those in the fraternity of parenthood know about. Flamingo is fine, nothing fancy Holiday Inn quality rooms but a nice location on the strip. Good enough if you are on a budget and just need a bed for the night. They also have a little outdoor bar right on the Strip that has great beer prices (BMC crap, but still) and is amazing for people...

At some point (I think it was) last season Harbaugh mentioned that they were changing the way the plays were called in to help avoid the delay of games and wasted time outs. It most definitely was a Harbaugh/Roman problem. Also, I haven't lost faith in Kaep yet. In watching the games it was...

The Baseball HOF is a joke and as much as I think the BBWAA is full of a bunch of knuckleheads, it really is the HOF itself that is perpetuating a lot of the issues there are with the HOF. What is really going to be dumb is when they 1st ballot the greatest closer of all time into the HOF...

Acorns - The Spare Change Investment App

This is the part that tells me not to do this. Yeah, it sounds like a neat little change jar type deal but either you are investing so little that it won't make any sort of impact on your finances whatsoever, or you can do the same thing this app does for much cheaper on your own.

I would be okay with this only because I would stand a pretty good chance of going through a couple of seasons without ever seeing a delay of game penalty. Although I think doing two tours a year through the NFC West would give the pundits all the ammo they need to say "told you Chip Kelly's...

At least with Holmgren you know he'll run left the first two downs. :/ I think everyone who actually follows the Niners and didn't just jump onto the Harbaugh era bandwagon had to have the idea in the back of their minds that once York got his shiny new Silicon Valley stadium winning would...

Supposedly Harbaugh to UM is a done deal. Michigan told their boosters as much. Does he last longer than 4 years there? Also I wonder if him and the Niners "mutually departing" was somewhat predicated on him not taking another NFL job (even though the Niners said he could if he wanted).

Generally speaking 5 years is about as far as you want to go on aging a beer (and usually they peak around year 3).
