    2013 NFL Season

The difference is that SF never and Seattle rarely actually cheat up a safety to help in their run defense. They rely on their front 7 to get the job done and most of the time it is good enough. Seattle's run stats are a little skewed by a few bad games in the middle of the season. If you look...

    2013 NFL Season

If you think New England has an "afterthought" running game, you haven't been paying attention to them this season. Where they will fall on their face in a potential Superbowl matchup is their near league-worst running defense.

New England also only had 2 wins against playoff teams and lost to powerhouses like Miami and the NY Jets.

Look around, there are 3 run first teams in the championship games. *edit: And outside of the KC/Indy game, pretty much every victory so far in the playoffs have came via the ground game.

I had been going with the SeaTalks lately but with the amount of chest thumping and head butting Boldin has been doing lately that would hypocritical of me. I put the over/under on unsportsman-like conduct penalties in the NFC Championship at 4.5. I'm going to bet the over, with the 5th one...

    2013 NFL Season

I think you guys are misconstruing what I said. I didn't say that SF/SEA was going to be the bigger news story, no way that gets more play than Manning vs Brady. My implication was that the winner of the NFC Championship game will be the Superbowl winner. Also, only reason Kaep has...

I will never understand the block in the back penalties. I mean, players know they can't do it but do it anyways and 9 out of 10 times it has zero impact on the actual play. It shouldn't be that hard to not block a guy in the back.

Actually you can pre or post sear and people who have done side-by-side taste tests claim the results were mixed (meaning it didn't matter which way you did it). However, post-sear is way easier imo.

No need, it will hold it's temp within a couple of degrees for an hour or two in a decent cooler which is more than enough to cook most things. Just need to make sure you preheat the cooler and account for the temp drop when you add the meat and/or whatever you are cooking.

So forecast for Seattle Saturday has 100% chance of rain (enough rainfall to cause flood watches in some areas) and gusty wind, 25-50mph depending on where you get the forecast. I would think the elements will throw the Saints off their game way more than they will Seattle.

Yup, and iOS users buy more stuff via mobile as well despite having less market share. Business Insider had an article about it and basically it boils down to the fact that many people basically don't use their Android phones beyond texting and gaming (so basically like a dumb phone). a.) You don't need to buy a $500+ piece of equipment to do sous-vide. You can cook sous-vide for as little of an investment as $20. b.) There are plenty of high end restaurants (including high end steakhouses) that use sous-vide. As a matter of fact it is only recently that it has made the...

I think the a big part of the thing with men and porn that women don't understand comes back to the basic biological fact that men are much more visually stimulated than women are. Maybe the watching other people also helps guys in monogamous relationships substitute that basic instinct to...

I can attest that once you have the sous-vide equipment (which again, can be as little as a small ice-chest, hot water from your tap, a ziplock bag, and a thermometer) it is WAY easier to sous-vide cook a steak than it is to grill it. And it turns out just as good as a grilled steak, and better...

So the 49ers having to take a time-out before the very first play of the second half makes a *little* more sense now. I still wish they could streamline their play-calling process so they aren't blowing time-outs early and constantly being in danger of delay of game penalties.
