Edit: After looking at the wiki for both, ED gem is the one that says contagion will transfer it. As far as how it plays, I imagine it's like inpulsa/hoi for clearing out side packs (which I've never really done) turned up to 11. You pop an ed and contagion on a mob and watch 10 screens die...

A source of ES leech if you use it as a support debuff type skill, an additional DoT chaos spell, builds using both would be better for high level bosses? What's the point of 90% of the skills when there is another one that has a similar effect/style?

I don't see anything in the reveal post saying it's intended to be spammable any more than ed gets spammed for the extra damage from hits. It does say the dot lasts a short duration so maybe they consider 3.5s to be a long duration. I guess even if it's like 2s you can just grab the duration...

Map tabs get funky as they change around map tiers, your standard map tab still has the old tiers, tho, instead of the new ones? Might fix itself if you remove the old maps to empty the tier, so that the game doesn't delete a bunch of maps people have from prior leagues but maybe it'll require...

Too short. I'd like to see it have 3.5 or 4s, or just 3.8 like ED has so that it's not a massive hassle to keep both of them up on bosses.

Probably gonna start this league with ed/contagion/soulrend and hope that soulrend isn't like a 2second duration. 50/50 on whether it will have a decent duration or force an annoying playstyle of spamming multiple spells constantly on bosses. I wonder if contagion will spread soulrend like it...

Granted I don't really know what the changes to leech duration will impact but was there some huge broken build that I was somehow unaware of? If not, just seems like a slap in the face to anything that isn't using LGOH. They already started buffing ES numbers back up, now they're adding ES...
