    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

Yeah this doesn't sound like what Mr. Booty was talking about. Some AI that uses a deep learning network of some kind to learn how to play and then being fed a bunch of savepoints and immediate goals would be interesting. I haven't seen anyone talk about testing games like this.

Is there anything you've seen that indicates that BGS is using this? There's a lot of AI chaffe over the last year.

I think I've bought stuff with cash maybe a dozen times since my kids were born. My eight year old has been earning "quarters" for a few years now that they largely spend under my supervision (ex: when I drive to the pet store to buy crickets for whatever varmint he's caught.,..), but my plan is...

Elden Ring - From Software + George RR Martin

I really love how BG3 makes respecs very inexpensive (100 gold, I've earned around 40,000 gold in a playthrough) and unlimited. I wish that was the standard in gaming. I didn't use all my respecs in Elden Ring and probably would've respec'd more if I had unlimited respecs, and enjoyed the game...

How feasible is it to split the ownership such that my kid can use the watch and I don't risk him being able to access any sensitive info (Ex: my emails, my dick pics, random websites he googles, etc) , and my phone doesn't get blown up when he's spamming his buddies?

Elden Ring is a huge game, but it's hard to call it tedious. I'm guessing you're looking for a different word.

We ended up getting the TickTalk4 TickTalk 4 It's OK. As a device it's great and has worked very well so far. It has a huge limitation though since it doesn't have true SMS compatibility. Anyone who texts with my son has to have their dumbass app, which severely limits the utility of the...

Like Gavin said, unless they truly ignored a kid in a time of real crisis, it's hard to be that judgemental. Going further and making a bunch of assumptions that might be bullshit, if they are 85 years old they are a depression era generation. They optimized their life because they thought...

    Elemental (2023)

If this movie consisted of like, a dozen 5 minute shorts showing a day in the life of elementals living in a metropolis I think I would've enjoyed it more. I loved the world building, art and scenes just showing this kind of wacky alternate reality. The actual plot felt kinda flat, and the core...

I'd actually respect Larian a bit more if they just cut the game short instead of letting you lose. Even if they had a really short epilogue version of whatever you normally get.

In 2023 I think the most interesting randomized content is still what was created by one Notch in a garage with Java in Minecraft, though the whole crafting system is based on finding biome-specific materials that starts to lose interest once you explore the biomes. Would be very cool if they...

Can't speak to EQ/UO in 1999, but yeah I remember voice chatting in games in 1999 with Roger Wilco, Gamespy etc. Back in '99 my counterstrike clan had 2 practices a week, 2 matches a week. We spent hours trying to get every edge we could in gaming so you bet your ass we were voicechatting...

Whether it's BG3's bear fucking or a funny leak story I have to imagine that any funny news around a major game release that isn't negative is a godsend to their marketing. split from investing general discussion thread. As a layman on the topic and someone who lives in an area not likely impacted, I'd be 100% for a federal program to build housing if it moved people out of cities and areas with housing issues. For a lot of market sectors the advent of...

The war Amazon is waging to staff the lowest-paid people possible while avoiding loss from hiring the lowest-paid people possible is pure late-stage capitalism at its finest. It's what I think of when I buy a $20 good on Amazon and free next-day delivery is an option.
