    Invincible

The show has been pretty faithful to the comics thus far. I doubt they will remove that storyline - at worst they might not actually show it. Like they'll make it clear what is happening and sort of cut away and then show the aftermath.

    Invincible

Mark showing up on the planet and meeting Omniman and him introducing his new brother was part of the comic. His name ends up being Oliver and he is NOT the same kid as your comic reference. Oliver has his own character arc When you said it was different, i thought you were referring to them...

    The Astronomy Thread

Nah, if anything he wants as much “mars test” shit as possible. The original waterless launch pad was probably that way because Mars launches can’t do that. And since it uses methane as fuel because in theory that is what they would be producing on Mars, he probably wants it similar to what it...

    For All Mankind

Oh that flashback scene with Diego. I went back and rewatched it and it did seem like they planned to pull it, although they pulverized the asteroid inside a net so it was fragments instead of a whole asteroid.

    For All Mankind

They didn't pull in the Expanse, they pushed with ships for some. On others, they actually fitted the asteroids themselves with boosters.

    Dungeons & Dragons (2022)

That means it made at least enough money and streaming views to not outright get rejected out of hand at least I recall some other interview that mentioned it would potentially happen, although at a lower budget

    Twitch.tv

The funny part isn't so much the cookie prices, but the fact they appear to just be a repackaged brand of cookies sold at Costco based on some videos out there. It's like when you go to a local restaurant and they have chocolate cake on the menu for like $6/7 a slice, then they bring it out and...

Lots. Ignoring the stuff that observes Earth mostly, you've got off the top of my head: 1) Kepler - helped locate tons of exoplanets pre-Webb 2) All the Mars rovers and Mars missions - Spirit and Opportunity, Mars Recon Orbiter, Phoenix (the polar lander), Curiosity, Perseverance and its...

    The Astronomy Thread

It isn't so much that NASA is incapable, but that isn't their current directive. The shift to private industry post-Space Shuttle for LEO stuff started over a decade ago. NASA was then tasked with deep space stuff, so you had stuff like SLS. And ultimately the stuff that gets budgetary...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Forgiveness can work, but it has to make sense. There is a neat post Endwalker side quest that has a part where you’re trying to help something understand how humans define morality or justifications for actions. During one scene, it talks about 3 major characters and what they did and their...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

This is the main issue - if the writing is crap, the story isn’t presented well, or the story/lore is generic as fuck, your Playerbase isn’t going to get invested in the story. A lot of the really grindy MMOs usually have a paper thin story. And there are lots of players that just want their...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

You can do both. The problem with minimalist in abundance is it gets missed and then people complain how “dead” the world feels. When Fallout 76 launched, it was like 90% minimalist story telling and environmental story telling. Then people complained that was boring so they added traditional...

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

The early WoW days were fun like that. I messaged Tigole asking what the blue Ragnaros core rings were for and he said they were leftover testing loot they forgot to take out of the drop tables and they were gone the next patch.

    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

They haven't released the full creation kit as far as I know for Starfield, so I presume that is the main reason why mod development has been limited

Ya, season 1 episode 1 was kind of weak. But you get a payoff pretty quick in the following episodes. Gods of the Arena (the 2nd season, which was a prequel to season 1) is also very good Season 3 and onward are sort of mixed. I also do agree on replacement Naevia not being as good as the...

    Twitch.tv

Based on my understanding, streamers have to play a specific number of ads every hour or Twitch goes bonkers with back to back ads. Some streamers hit the ad button more than they should though, because they get greedy for ad view dollars (although that can backfire for obvious reasons)

    Spartacus

The original Spartacus series were awesome. Plus it was something both men and women could enjoy because it had gratuitous nudity for everyone and combined it with backstabbing plots and likable characters. You even liked the villains. Lucy Lawless nude scenes also a bonus lol

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

My favorite PvP trick in classic was using the world enlarger engineering item + the nogginfogger shrink on my gnome. They stacked so your gnome literally was the size of an ant. You could run around and people couldn’t see you (just your name plate)

    Ghostbusters : Afterlife

The worst was the beat down on the curb in front of the store with “young Deniro”. It was this blatantly obvious “old man movement” that just took you out of the film. At least get some younger stuntman and just deepfake the actor’s likeness into them. They already have stuntmen standin for...

It could also be that it has some filler/slow spots and that is usually handled by the audience better when you can just binge watch it.
