Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Was anyone pumped for this movie? I haven't seen it yet but was always a wait-for-cable for me. The previews were never inspiring. Media tried too hard to make a ticket-sale headline out of it, they got too drunk off Star Wars I think.

Only way it can be decent is if the text translation is wrong and it's: "When minion attacksORkills". Still wouldn't even be great, but fucks sake, this is shittier than Boulderfist Ogre currently simply because it's 2 more mana for an affect that'll never proc lmao. If the text is "OR"...

    Hearthstone

3 mana 2/2 is so bad, not sure about this. Easy to play around but low enough health that a player could self-trigger it too. It's like a 4 or 5 mana Power of the Wild. the +1/+1 isn't even that scary unless it's a zoo deck

plenty of counters to Tirion though. Silence, Harrison, Black Knight. He's a class Legendary and is what a class Legendary should be. No way he's nerfed.

Even in Arena you're not going to have that many Warlock cards. Most will be spells which you wont want to replace. And warlock hero power is really valuable in a format where you almost never hit fatigue.
  8. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Well.............. it's an odd card for sure, but keep in mind that Warlock is OP from their hero power and Warlock class cards are notoriously bad. Most warlock decks rely on neutrals. This card only replaces warlock cards. Warlock decks might only have 5-10 warlock cards of the 30. You...

Looks neutral to me, I already double-checked that before posting. I had assumed it was a Rogue card originally. EDIT: OK it's confirmed Rogue card on twitter. (lame Hearthpwn using the neutral art for this)

I'll definitely play N'zoth in a super slow Paladin deck with Sylvanas/Tirion. That shit is insane. Won't make many other decks unless some really good deathrattle shit comes out, which doesn't seem to be the case. Even Control Warrior probably wouldn't play it since Sylvanas and maybe Cairne...

    Hearthstone

Of course it's completely different, I think you're missing the point. There are decks that rely on big taunt minions... namely Handlock. Also Priest. These decks were able to use Belchers and Deathlords for the past year+ but now they'll need something else. These decks also don't care too...

    Hearthstone

Argus is +2/+2 max and a 2/3 body and 2 taunts. This is 1 taunt but can be a big body and has good synergy with buffs, giants and other big minions. So instead of a 9/9 molten with taunt and a 2/3 body, if you had this card it would be an 8/8 and another 8/8 with taunt. Argus is much more...
  14. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

I think the taunt will prove to be valuable. We're losing deathlord and Belcher and there aren't any big taunt minions outside dragons. Again, it's not a auto include by any means, but it's not far off from argus in terms of value.
  15. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

I like the card. It's not an auto include, which we don't want anyway, but it can definitely see some play, and might even be broken in some cases. It's not a card you would play on curve, so you wouldn't want it in your starting hand. It's for mid & late. The taunt makes it good. But...

Rafaam seems so much better than KT. Just keep clearing board and it's over, KT can't keep up with the legendary spam. KT having so few spells makes it hard to get tempo back.

Shaman is still a weak class outside the aggro version. You're not going to run Shaman because of this 1 card, they need a lot more help for sure. However, if we're just evaluating the 5 slot, this card is very good for the stats alone. The healing affect is a nice bonus. Other 5 drops...

    Hearthstone

4/6 is a good tempo play for sure and it trades very well against azure drakes which will be more common. Counting on it for healing won't be too reliable, but a nice bonus I suppose.

hmm.... kinda slow and pointless? I guess turn 8 with lightning storm could help get you back in the game vs aggro

eh, unstable ghoul is still better but is being removed from standard. Now you use this card but without taunt it's not going to be as good.

It's a good 1 drop for sure. Deals 2 damage to a single minion which clears a lot of 2 drops. Also works well in grim patron deck.

    Overwatch

Frequency of premades proabably depends a lot on your MMR. I see familiar names almost every game. Even a 2 or 3 man pre-made can roflstomp a full 6 man random team. Their stats are misleading btw. So about 20% of games include a premade of 3+ people somewhere. They specifically lumped 2-man...

The chance of oil rogue beating a warrior is about as good as a freeze mage. Oil rogue is reactive just like warrior, when the warrior is happy to just armor up every turn then the rogue can't do much... getting off combos is so much harder if there's no minion on board, and as soon as the rogue...

I like C'Thun and believe there will be C'Thun decks. I'm also luke warm on some others like Hogger and the Doomsayer, though Doomsayer is likely only a niche pick in some decks. Hoarder might be okay too. But yes, tons of really bad cards too. I was one of the few people that loved Aviana...

Where are people saying that? Reddit? Nobody on this board seems very excited over it, which is different than when Aviana/Mistcaller were debuted. Not hung up on it, just saying it's weak for 10 mana. I love playing warlock and see no point for this card. Warlock have the most abundant and best removals in the game already, for cheap. Hellfire, Shadowflame, and even Twisting Nether. This card could only fit in renolock but a renolock...

Mana cost & damage are subject to change obviously. Make it a 4 or 5 cost, idk, it's not my place to balance the shit. What it would do is remove any low health deathrattle'd minions that still exist and prevent your opponent from playing a high cost threat if they value removing the curse. I'm...

If you're stuck in a position where you need a board clear, you want to make sure you can cast after tapping. At least with Twisting nether you can tap and still use it, this card requires sitting in your hand taking up a valuable slot. You can't dig for it cause won't be able to play it anyway...

seems terrible tbh. Overdraw potential is too high (up to 14 cards can be drawn). Control decks will have 4-5 cards in hand already and you would only want to spend 10 mana on a board clear if it removes a substantial number of minions. It won't be used in a flood deck like Zoo... Can't find a...

Well if the slime doesn't have taunt then this conversation is over. ..it's terrible. But I'll disagree it would be bad if it did have taunt. Belcher loses to most other 5 drops so saying this card loses to yeti isn't a fair assessment. It's the stickiness and annoyance of 2 taunts that are so...

Tauren looks like garbage unless the slime also has taunt then maybe it's playable. Volazj just doesn't seem feasible in any competitive or good deck, but fun for sure. If you can stick a malygos or prophet velen then you can get some mindblast fun going, but that's like 1 in a 100 it happens
