Could be they're messing with stuff or increased the queue sizes, but I think this is the result of the population not hanging out AFK all the time. Now most players are active and the servers can't cut it.
Thanks. That's EQ Baby requires level 40+ to apply, been avoiding Aradune while the queues were high so I'm still level 19. Won't take long to get to 40 though.

can't even blame the lack of lidar on this one. Radar should have been SCREAMING during this entire drive in.
With how easy it is to level it seems like it'd be pretty easy to play alts, especially if you picked one of a few classes that can effectively power-level and are willing to multi-box in some way. I'm pretty happy with enc/cle and don't plan on leveling an alt in classic but I can see myself...
Probably rose-tinted glasses but it felt like back in 1999 you'd be in a zone for days or weeks, getting to become an expert at the zone and knew everyone who was a regular there. Now you pop into a decent group in a zone, blow up every mob near you and before you even get a feel for the mob...
Got to 15 in two good play sessions so far inbetween queues and RL, having a ton of fun.
Me (enc/cle) and my dad (nec) can breeze through the content easily enough in our trash-gear and getting random PUGs brings some spontaneity to it. We got in with a trio of really terrible players earlier...
So you've done this enough that you're only interested in the level 50 rush and then do something else, what would your ideal TLP ruleset be that would make you interested in continuing to play hardcore after hitting 50?
Put both my characters into the queue within a few seconds of eachother about 4 hours ago. My cleric got in 5+ minutes ago, still waiting on the enchanter.
Hard to imagine that the queue system would have that kind of asymmetry, but with a queue time that'll take me 4 hours or whatever...
Longest queues I ever saw for a game was Archeage on launch and 32 hours. In an Archeage launch there is a literal land-grab where you had to acquire a house and place it. It was hilarious though, people would come home and see the queue and realize they wouldn't be able to log in for two...
This timing makes sense. Sometimes creating a coherent queue or similar system take 15 minutes to write, an hour to integrate and a few hours to test. Then creating the progress bar to show to players goes through the UI guy but they're backed up because the ice texture doesn't work quite right...
how you gonna get suspended for training?? sounds like bullshit enforcement to me.
184m queue when I logged off tonight at 10PM EST. I'm really hoping that queue is some artificial bullshit they release a bit after the weekend or something. The server is pretty lively but it's not THAT lively.
First thing I'd do every shift if I was the Karen GM is to delete all the boxing/botting reports without looking at them. A GM just needs to port around to all the high-value spots and hit people, there are so few spots to police and so few players that it's just not that hard.
Nah, it's a pretty common name. I'm not that upset since I don't even have it on Bristlebane since it got merged. Ironically the first character named Tuco I ever made was ON Bristlebane, and it's been my gaming name on dozens (hundreds?) of games over the last twenty years, but I don't have it...
I'm guessing that the person who did the UX for this queue also did the queueing system and the database code for the last few years.
So, to answer your question, no.
shit posting on the official forums is starting to feel like jeering at the elderly softball league. Sure, you're right that Ed should start going to practice more than he goes to fuckin' Denny's but it's like fish in the barrel.
Not to derail too much but what's funny about the live scene is that the last expansion was easy from top to bottom, and the final raid was killed by 20 guilds in the first week.

Compare that with TBL, where the difference...
