The key is when she says stop and draws her gun, stop moving and talk to her. Then tell her you’re passing on a message and ncpd was behind this. She says fuck this city and you complete the quest and don’t have to kill her. If you keep moving towards her, she starts blasting.

    The Prepper Thread

Not sure if sarcastic or not, but it isn’t just burn fire -> heat go up chimney stone fireplace. They build them with internal channels that redirect as much of the hot air and smoke around inside the structure to maximize the amount of heat absorption by the stones, then make sure after it...

    The Prepper Thread

You probably want a stove/hearth designed to actually efficiently heat shit. I knew a guy who used a Russian fireplace design for his off the grid spot. Was centralized in the house and made of stones. Idea is the fire also heats the stones, which will continue to radiate heat for a longer...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Being an honest cop in Night City is tantamount to being a criminal, if that makes sense. In the game, almost the entire org is in the pockets of corps and is so underfunded, they just don’t give a shit because they can’t get anything done anyways.

    Cyberpunk 2077

The River quest is 2 main parts: investigating the death of the mayor, then trying to find a fucked up serial killer. The mayor thing introduces you to River, but opens up another subplot that has big implications in the game. Both quests are pretty well done.

FFXIV is probably the closest I would say. You basically get crafting abilities and instead of fighting an enemy, you have to try to boost the quality of an item while also being able to complete the item. For easy shit, people make macros, but they have been trying hard to make top tier stuff...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Currently at 88 hours in the game. Level 50. I've primarily focused on all the side stuff. I've cleared the map of all the minor gigs except one (that monk meditation one), finished Judy and Panam's quests, all NCPD hustles, all tarot cards and cyberpsychos. Right now I need to meet Goro in...

Bethesda isn't the best model to use. We can look at what CDPR did for Witcher 3. 2 Expansion packs and 16 free DLC - which ranged from cosmetic shit to new quests. Who knows what this game will end up getting, but at least 1 expansion seems like a guarantee. My guesses for free DLC stuff...

They announced a free DLC early 2021, so I suspect it will contain content that was cut for initial launch

Cyberpunk, Warzone, and Shadowbringers for FFXIV have my most playtime for new games in 2020 (do last 2 count though?), but I haven’t played Hades or Ghost yet.

People are focusing too much on a single aspect of streaming: the actual streaming. There is a lot more that goes into making it a career besides pressing “start streaming” -Raise awareness on other platforms to drive viewers (YouTube, Twitter, IG, etc) -Work on relationships with other...

I finally found Skippy. Hate using smart guns because it feels like aimbot, but I love how the gun talks trash sometimes (calling someone a cocksucker in a polite English accent).

Assault in progress don’t respawn, but doing blue missions will frequently open up new blue missions. Also, as you do more gigs in a specific region, you will find new missions open up

    Cyberpunk 2077

Ya, the Panam/Nomad ending is 100% going to be the official/canon ending. Those bug screenshots remind me of something I experienced in my game. I was in River's car and he was driving me to the next objective. For whatever reason, there was some random woman walking in the middle of the...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Stealth is the most fun tbh. You get so OP with guns that the best challenge is the "try to clear a spot using stealth takedowns only/don't get caught". There are even a couple gigs out there where you can't even do stealth takedowns to get the bonus...you literally have to just flat out not...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Crafting is very good, but as others have said, you need to go all in to get the most benefit from it. If you do, though, you can basically make best in slot gear for everything very easily, have a lot more control over how your character looks clothing wise, and get big buffs to iconic weapons...

Call of Duty 2020: Black Ops Cold War

They follow the same pattern 1) New gun is OP 2) They nerf it 3) Add new gun Rinse repeat. I suspect the DMR will end up getting a damage nerf, recoil nerf, or they will swap the ammo type to sniper.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Ya, the crafting perk that removes mods from scrapped items is godlike. You get so many legendary mods from what would otherwise be shitty items. I would like to find more legendary armor crafting recipes, though, so I can actually make my character look halfway decent. There should be...

Speaking of the cats, you can get one as a pet for your apartment. You can find cat food in certain spots. If you leave the cat food at the bowl near your apartment and come back later, you find the cat and can pick it up and put it in your apartment. It will go to different spots in there...

This over reaction is going to murder expansions, because publicly traded companies have to deal with 2 competing factors: 1) Investors want ROI - ie, product on sale and do well 2) This also means they have limited patience - ie, you cant take your time to deliver a finished product If you...

Speaking of crafting, I saw some posts that epic/legendary crafting schematics are bugged? In terms of shops replacing stock. Only ones I found were in that high end corpo shop. I want nice looking shit to wear with slots

It's basically a prisoner's dilema for the music industry, but they are opting to do the "fuck them over" option over and over without understanding the compromise is what will yield the most gain in the long run.

    The Expanse

Kind of clickbait. Amazon is done after season 6 and they are open to finding someone else to help bankroll the show. Their only hope is for another service to pick up the tab (which probably isn't likely), or they try to bank role a mini-series like the Henson Company did with Farscape...

    The Mandalorian

I don't know the lore, but it wasn't uncommon long ago for rulers to basically adopt someone to serve as their heir in the event they either had no natural heirs, or they thought their heirs were garbage. It could have easily been a case where the ruling couple couldn't have children and Leia...

I too would have liked to see the post book 6 stuff, but the book 6 end ties up the story in such a way that it can serve as a natural stopping point. Books 7 and onward always felt like a sequel to me, so to speak.

You probably get blindness from seeing the same stuff over and over and having previously focused on prior bugs. Your brain eventually learns to “ignore” things that don’t match what you are looking for. Like if I had to previously worry about NPCs that randomly drop dead, I might be so...

I’m level 39 and I’m close to that build, except less int and more in cool I mostly got int for the hack nodes, because you get insane money hitting all those up. Between that, missions, and selling random guns, I’m sitting at over 500k Also on a side note, it is worth doing those blue NCPD...

Ya, that stood out to me, especially after they gave his role to Drummer in season 3. Drummer is basically playing the role of that Belter pirate from the books, so I am guessing Bull will be doing what Drummer actually did in the books to a degree?

Learned a trick off YouTube to cheese the boxing match quests, which can be really hard if you didn’t invest heavy in body/street brawling. Before the match starts, go into your inventory, highlight a melee weapon, then select drop. After the match starts, run to the melee weapon on the ground...

I disagree. They're following the book narrative and each character basically gives you a POV into the major events: Holden: Lets you see what is going on with Fred Johnson and the Protomolecule Naomi: Lets you see what is going on with Marco Alex: Lets you see what is going on with Mars and...

Huge fans knew this, but most regular people didn't know until he pulled the hood off. Hardcore fans knew the second the X-Wing showed up and Grogu reacted to a force user, and even more knew when the green saber+glove showed up. But your average fan you might only have seen the Star Wars...

This thread side tangent reminded me of some shitty made for TV movie in the early 90s. All I remember is it had John Delancie as a reporter. Aliens were lobbing meteors at Earth and eventually they put together a plan to stop the next meteor, but then some dude figures out the meteors are...

Spoken like a true Innah! Beltalowda!!! Ya, in the book the 2nd meteor hits in the Atlantic, but the show made it looks like it impacted right near Philly/New York City, which makes me wonder how they handle Amos' story post-impact considering where his journey takes him eventually. The...
