    Ashes of Creation

The class description sounded kinda like Archeage, which means illusion of choice because outside a few OP combos, you’re food in PVP.

I’m reading surge is less than predicted, but wind damage was more severe than people expected

    Altered Carbon

Each season was sort of that way, although season 1 did feel more self-contained. S2 was more open with 2 Kovaks out there and them hinting that they would be continuing the whole "fight the power" thing.

    Altered Carbon

If Cyberpunk 2077 becomes a big hit, I would imagine that might inspire some shows and assist in securing funding, much in the same way the Witcher games got the TV show greenlit.

    Altered Carbon

Season 2 was ok. It did feel like a downgrade from S1 though.

    New World

I was watching Strippin play this. He played the earlier version and he thinks the game getting paired down to 3 skills and no lock on is them potentially looking at a mobile port of the game.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Ya the Lanys vs Firiona Vie event. The finale was in Kithicor where Innoruk shows up and all sorts of high level shit spawned. They also spawned them in the assling city. Zone completely crashed from all the lag and corpses. On our server it duped all the corpses, so the guides kicked...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Ah it could have been, I do recall one of the DoI guys blocking was an ogre SK. Other was a shaman.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

EQ1's "zomg lose corpse forever" fear wasn't very long lived. It didn't take long for them to add mechanics that more or less made it much lower risk: Planes popping empty, summon corpse, people figuring out safe spots and corpse dragging/vox res stick recharges. I recall like maybe 1 or 2...

Ya it’s basically Castle/Bones with demons and angels. It’s cheesy fun. Enjoyed this first half, even if some shit was too predictable. Looking forward to see what’s next based on the cliffhanger.

Why the fuck do they have such a hardon for all the Moira changes? It’s not like pros are deleting everyone with her

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

C4’s range is bullshit in terms of blast radius, but trapping vehicles is a legit tactic. I do it all the time: bait vehicle you know someone will take the BOOM. Mines can work well too if you can hide them.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Crushbone was great and all, but nothing matches the carnage of Unrest or Karnors trains to zone lol

    Lucifer

Budget wise the show can't be as bad as some of the more special effect heavy shows, so it's (presumably) a pretty economical pick for Netflix in the scheme of things if it brings in the viewers. The Youtube trailers racked up some pretty respectable numbers and they've been willing to go 3...

Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

It's basically a gambling addict mentality - the player has already lost so much playing Blackjack, but they're convinced that this next hand will be the lucky one and make all that prior "investment" worth it.

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

From that video I posted, it sounds like new leadership at Blockbuster doubles down on the stores and killed off their own Netflix competitor.

Eden has limits removed. Can run that and the old Nier raid and the last dungeon probably. Also the relic weapon for 1k poetics

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Ya, Xenos isn’t very interesting. “I love the WoL, I want to kill the WoL because everyone isn’t on my level”. Rando Ascians also aren’t as interesting, although technically none can be created anymore. Seems the obvious road is next patch takes us to civil war Garlemond or close to that...

    Marvel Universe stuff

Most Wanted was a pilot made for an AoS spinoff that never got picked for series. If they included that, it’s a budget add since it was already produced.

    Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Garrett had killed Hand in S1, so they probably just did that as poetic justice.

Nursing Homes would be less boring. Imagine being a gamer all your life, then your kids put you in a nursing home with no gamer setup or good internet. You'd probably die of boredom in a matter of weeks.

    Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Apparently it was cut, but there was going to be a Deke epilogue scene where he is in a SHIELD director office with chair turned around, then he turns to face the camera and has an eye patch on, basically making him Nick Fury in that timeline. Shame they cut it, that would have been awesome...

Yes, they trimmed down the ARR MSQ this patch. Some quests were outright removed and some were streamlined so they are more time efficient. I think they also give you some Waking Sand teleport tickets at points so you can get back to the base more quickly.

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

It came too late. From what I recall, Netflix originally approached Blockbuster on their by-mail model and was looking for a buyout. Blockbuster laughed them out and they ended up building a successful model. I think by the time Blockbuster actually put their toe into that water, Netflix had...
