    WandaVision

AoS finale sort of teased SWORD with Daisy/Souza in space doing missions He is literally part of the cast for the show, so it was him.

Facebook reactions on promoted content is usually garbage anyways. Like when the Expanse promoted on the platform, I swear half the comments were MAGA trolls with a beef with Bezos and a quarter of the comments were smooth brains that didn't understand the show lol

    The Expanse

DS9 didn't expand the Federation. Your estimate of "100s" of Cadets makes no sense, even in TOS era. A Navy isn't just Aircraft Carriers or Battleships. It's destroyers, frigates, subs, etc. The Constitution or Galaxy classes were basically battleships. Yes, you don't have many battleships...

    WandaVision

At this juncture, they work with the assumption you know who these characters are. You don't need an intro to them. Which is fair, because a show like this (or Loki or whatever) is targeted at people who are familiar with the MCU. So these opening two episodes are an immediate mystery to...

B5 was good, DS9 was good. I personally liked DS9 more because I just enjoyed many of the characters more (especially the "side" characters, like Garak, Quark, Weyoun, Gul Dukat) and that show had a pretty great all around solid cast in terms of acting ability.

    WandaVision

Anything in the MCU is fair game. SWORD is the only element that has been barely introduced (they've hinted at it in other MCU things, but I dont think they've referred to it directly by name?). But watching a show like this w/o no MCU background is unlikely, lets be honest. With the...

    WandaVision

Pleasantville was just an allegory for racism/resistance to change and pointing out the hypocrisy of pining for the "good old days". They really aren't trying to do that here, so to speak. It seems like they are just trying to use different TV eras to represent the current state of her...

Easy test: Sanrith, would you call sprite a pop, soda, or coke? If he answers anything but soda, then he speaks English and Communist as languages

    WandaVision

It’s clear what angle they are going. SWORD is trying to get through to her, they succeed a little bit each time, and each success moves her into a different TV era as a metaphor for her psychological state. First episode is 50s, so super ideal but also superficial. Next one goes to early 60s...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I think the only level 50 enemies in the game are if you do the secret ending. Even with that, I was able to kill them no problem (although I did have to down a lot of health sprays lol)

I don't recall them showing anything in the show, although Marcos didn't seem particularly concerned when he told that ship to proceed with their orders.

    The Stand

That is one trope I despise. It’s nostalgia wrapped in ignorance. “We need to get back to nature!” and forget WHY we tried to get away from nature. Shitty life expectancy, riddled with parasites, deaths in childbirth and high infant mortality, diseases, spending most of your waking hours...

    The Expanse

It’s been a while but I think they thought she did die at first, then later on they suspect she maybe lived but it doesn’t matter because the ship had jackshit on it? I would have to reread. But ya, in the books Naomi is a zero G movement master, even compared to some other belters.

Right, vacuums don’t conduct heat very well. Same reason why your thermos will keep your drink warm for a while. So while space is very cold, it isn’t like diving into a vat of liquid nitrogen. As for the airlock piece, the ships were aligned airlock to airlock before. If there wasn’t any...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I wouldn’t doubt it. The vending machine quests are basically hidden and don’t show up as gigs, and lots of quests are hidden behind other stuff you do. I can’t get the final Kerry mission though, which also unlocks the US Cracks stalker mission

    Spellbreak

This feels like a game where the mechanics were solid, but it just didn't get enough traction. Imagine if they got the Avatar IP to go with this somehow? I mean, the game is more or less bender fights lol

    Cyberpunk 2077

Ya, game has a ton of hidden easter eggs. You can find a dead Roy Batty on a roof, holding a pigeon, in the same pose he was in Blade Runner when he died.

Speaking of pistols, during a replay I killed Dum Dum at the club and got the iconic Doom Doom pistol. I upgraded it to legendary and it had 5.5k DPS lol. A single burst on Smasher took him to like 17% HP.

They actually handled it as realistically as you could, though. She does a few things right: Right as she opens the airlock door she forcibly exhales all her air from her lungs (to prevent her lungs from expanding and basically rupturing), she launches towards the other ship, and she uses the...

Call of Duty 2020: Black Ops Cold War

They apparently fixed the stim shit today. They also added extra nerfs to the DMR, including changing penetration from sniper to AR (lul...why the fuck was it set on sniper using AR rounds to begin with???), increasing recoil for 2nd and 3rd shots, and increase damage fall off at range.

It’s a fine balance for PVP: you need good performance, but you also need to be able to tell what a person is casting to better prioritize attacking or knowing when to interrupt

If you notice, her accent changes around who she is talking to. Which is what people do IRL. I used to work with a guy from Kentucky who's accent would switch in an instant if he was talking with people from "back home" vs. the accent he used in the office.

    The Expanse

Yup. Although logically, it was the only way to get off the ship (potentially) alive. She knew they were going to launch her shitty ship on a mission and if they thought she killed herself, they wouldn't have bothered to look for her.

    The Expanse

The season is staying fairly faithful to the book. Because the crew is split up so far apart, you have very divergent story capsules to follow. It all comes together in the end and all the individual story capsules to benefit the whole. It's like Season 1 to a degree, where you had Miller...
