    Mortal Kombat (2021)

This one? Sorta. The "grounded" MK short on Youtube was basically a fan made movie to try to drum up excitement/investment in such a project. Warner Bros eventually I think hired him to make some web episodes (MK: Legacy) to serve as a leadup to the MK reboot earlier this decade. They...

There is a big difference between cleavage and shoving cucumbers inside you. Because of the idiotically worded FOSA law, many large companies are censoring shit that even hints at “sex work” (aka nudity).

Naval battles were so damn fun in the game. I used to be a regular cannon gunner on a naval crew in the game during events. Plus you could do shit like lasso the pilot off the wheel and fuck with sails/anchors

Right, a civilization that has completely exhausted/is close to exhausting all local resources basically has to look elsewhere or die/risk collapse. So if we look at vast timescales, eventually you have to look outside your solar system, although such a move with limited speed would be more...

But it wouldn't be practical to expand with that level of tech in most cases if the lifeform has a limited lifespan on par with a human, plus it would require engineering technology that could deal with centuries of deep space travel without support. It's not impossible, but neither is rowing...

You're right, it just takes one. But on a cosmic scale, you need more data. You can't draw a conclusion with 50 years of extremely limited data/observational capabilities out of billions. A civilization could have been hypothetically beaming transmissions to us for 5,000 years, but if those...

Just check out FFXIV. People go nuts for housing then (myself included) and it creates a massive gold sink in the game. FFXIV needs to increase the furniture budget...I capped out at 400/400 and still need more. So long as they implemented a fully functional decoration system (I want Z, Y...

Plus you have to factor in moving past radio eventually. Even in The Expanse, they start to use laser "tight beam" communication over radio. And that doesn't even get into possible modes of quantum communication. Radio is potentially a stepping stone, but it doesn't mean it continues to get...

We’ve been to the moon is the point. We haven’t stayed long, but we’ve put boots there. While the moon and Mars have some basic similarities in terms of long term habitation, they’re also extremely different to the point where moon isn’t a required precursor to Mars

In theory vs practicality. If they are a limited life span species, then your only options are a) stasis tech b) artificial augmentation (ie, cyborgs c) generation ships. In all scenarios, there has to be a strong drive to basically abandon your life as you know it and everyone you know (or to...

It's also difficult, which is why it is attractive. Same reason people to ultra mythic raids/ultimate versions...they want to be first. It's not an either/or situation. And to be honest, private industry is going to have to spearhead this, because every 4/8 years, some new president comes...

It also makes assumptions that Dyson Spheres/Shkadov engines are a natural progression of technology for a highly advanced civilization, which is honestly kind of arrogant (and in turn, a hallmark of humanity lol). The great filter strikes me as idiotic to be honest. It’s like a guy living in a hut on a deserted island assuming that all other huts in the ocean failed because he hasn’t seen any evidence of huts besides his own yet while he is awake. All we really have is what, radio signals as a basis...

You'll need between 50-60m for a mansion (keep in mind also that after you buy the plot, to build the actual house costs 3m, although you have 45 days to do that if the plot literally takes every coin you have). Then you got to furnish it, which is expensive if...

Probably a smart change. Most of the castles in AA fell because the guild owning it just couldn't field enough people anymore to properly defend it. Making it faction based will at least ensure that the faction at large has some skin in the game and encourage more people to show up.
