Kolkata Overpass Collapses At least 24 killed

Not sure what the justice system is like in India, but you know that if it's not totally corrupt heads are going to roll everywhere. The building standards in India are terrible. They are building so fast, have a third world mindset and just give so few fucks.

scrum/agile stuff has had a tough go at my company. The people who try to push it are usually shit programmers who can't get anything done. Maybe there's a connection between shit programmers and people who try to find better process around programming.

The other part I don't see talked about is what exactly happens when the cost of those materials plummet. I don't know enough about metallurgy to know what cool technology would be made plausible if palladium went from 20k USD a kilo to 10k. Or 5k. Maybe it'd just reduce the cost of research...

There's a few ways it can go. In an ideal world the big VR players will solidify the VR tech in the first couple generations, then come together to make an open platform that allows developers to easily support both HMDs. It's a lot harder than it sounds though. The performance...

BDO absolutely has quest hubs. However, the quests themselves don't give much (if any) leveling experience so they are semi-optional. If you want to do any of the crafting / trading, you'll need to do a tremendous amount of them. The setup I have, where I have 9 tree nodes + 1 wheat node + 3...

I don't see the world comparison either. I actually do too. In BDO grinding is so easy (as a wizard) because you can just hop around and use any one of the many "kill everything buttons" but if you stop for 4 seconds to type mobs will spawn and attack you. I actually prefer EQ's grinding where it's slower, methodical and inherently...

Science!! Fucking magnets, how do they work?

I feel like the "weight of human on earth" comparison is more suitable than the gravitational force of two human beings together. I have no idea how strong that is and my only frame of reference is when Sandra Bullock and George Clooney drifted apart from another in Gravity.
