People were super pessimistic about ESO months before release. My crew hated W* because no PvP, so no idea how most people felt cause I didn't keep up with that thread. This game has legs... if the server community creates enough content for it and keeps it interesting by fighting each...

Didn't make my goal of level 50 before Monday, only got 44, feels bad man =\ Only got like 4 hours of sleep since Friday morning. I guess I shouldn't feel bad, I have 6 properties and clipper plans. Will get my large farm tomorrow probably.

If someone were to place a small farm in the middle of our village (which is huge, like 200 houses huge) there'd be no way for us to force someone to move. We could put in way more effort than it's worth to blockade a person from being able to use their farm or we might be able to pressure them...

Not sure when, but if I had to guess we'll have a level requirement of 50 with some level of gear requirement. We actually have much higher membership than we expected (some 150 on atm) so the appetite to bring new people in is low.

We conducted our first banana run today. We will be regularly holding intercontinental trade pack runs in the future, easing our ability to trade goods, build farms and begin our war machine.

DDOSing an MMO seems really pointless and random. Would be more interesting to DDOS consumer front ends like amazon during holiday shopping.

Got kicked out after playing pretty flawlessly since headstart, posted my phone # on forums to give me a call when the login servers were going back up, got text message a minute later saying they're rebooting the servers, haha.

It cracks me up that the revenue stream of SC has pushed its marketing into selling ships rather than a game to play.

Honestly not sure what land we got. I placed 4 buildings and 2 farms and had enough gilda left for a clipper. From a cursory look at the names on the houses of the village it seems like we claimed a ton of it.

Honestly game devs screw up queues very often for some reason. This one seems to be pretty functional now that they've made everyone a patron.

Chief of the login police! Had to stop a couple hours after head start to go make an offer on a house. Only 70 people in front of me though! The queues aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. Hopefully I can get some more land tonight!

~50 minute queue for me atm. We had a pretty good launch, a lot of place land but a lot are stuck in quest bottlenecks. PRX Village has much of the land we want and we got the islands we wanted to so far, but we still need to claim as much as possible before it's all gone!

It's a double edged sword. We're here to have the most epic fights and the biggest battles and against the toughest enemies. They're mostly on Kyrios so here we are.

We've just decided 100% on Kyrios. The reason for this is because it has the top PvP guilds and should have the highest competition. It will have land scarcity problems, it will have queues, it will be laggy. This is the price we pay for being on the hardest server with the toughest foes. This...

I really hate that fact. It takes most people a year at a company before you can really start producing good work, and when you're in for two years you know much more about the dynamics of the company and what can be done. Plus I love my job (5yrs in) but wonder if I could make more if I switched.

Different people like different things and there's nothing really wrong with not wanting to be an underdog. Plus there's fights where you're outnumbered 20-40% and win and those are great. Then there's logging into your PvP zone and seeing the enemy spawn camping everyone. Your zone chat is full...

Honestly the PvP in this game is only meaningful in three scenarios: 1. Sieges 2. Fighting over trade packs 3: Fighting over land when ownership is going to expire. In the case of #3, the only time that's fun is when there's too many people on the server.
