The level 42 portal mission has driven me up a fucking wall. Tried it three times now and it's bugged out each time in a slightly different way ~20 minutes in. So terribly buggy with these scripts. They need cleaned up and some means to self-correct when they misfire.

How is the class differentiation? One of the reasons my non MMO playing crew** were so into Borderlands was how well the classes/roles synergized even though it was largely people running around with guns. **I've shared the trailers with them trying to get them intrigued with some success.

Tanks are faster than healer, at least at low to mid 30s. Healers are actually comparable to dps. I get matched as much as dps as I do when healing. Now there are terrible healers who queue up and fail, but not as many as you might expect without any form of gearcheck.

Healed Stormtalon twice now and each time I joined a group already in progress whose healer had bailed at the first boss. The fights and even the trash mobs are by no means trivial and healing is pretty much a heart-attack inducing affair of barely controlled chaos...but it is certainly fun...

Anyone else having a hard time placing the GTAEs? I dont know if it's a latency thing or running into GCDs but I seem to have a really hard time activating and then properly placing the GTAE effects. This gets exacerbated when dealing with emergency heal situations.

The skillwheel and the way that abilities interact and synergize with each other for this game is still the most exceptional way I've seen a freeform 'classless' game be organized. I feel there should be a seminar at the GDC that looks carefully at how they organized it as a lesson to others.
