They are still about 2 years out from New Hope when the next season starts. At the start, it was supposed to be 5 years before ANH and they've done fairly significant time jumps in between the seasons so far.

yeah, its the best book so far. highly recommend it, even if it is sort of in the YA category.

The beauty of the "Star Wars Story" films is that there's tons of potential for what they could do. They don't need to save this cast of characters for more, because they can do a Yoda movie, Boba Fett movie, the rumored Kenobi trilogy that's probably bullshit but who knows, more Han Solo stuff...

The news today was not gigantic, the biggest being they are leaning toward not having an opening crawl for the standalone movies. Makes sense to me. I'd certainly like to see them break some of the rules with this movie especially.
