The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Those were most of things that bugged me as well. Extra five minutes here and an extra 15 minutes there. There is an option to see how long you played from the console itself. Can't remember what specific system menu it is on but it told me 50 hrs+ for Mario and 100 hrs+ for this.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I spent around 100 hours to get all the shrines but didn't do all the other side quests and everything else. I spent about 30 hours of that on three hearts. If you're a completionist see you back here in a year or two, especially if you don't look anything up.

Poll January's Retro Game of the Month

Would it be beneficial to start posting some references to the games we are nominating e.g. pictures, video, wiki article? It may help people to select some of the games they don't know about and not force them to go out and do it themselves.

Retro Game of the Month December 2017: Phantasy Star IV (Genesis)

Couldn't get through it. Too much life, also Zelda BOTW, got in the way. Will pick back up at some point.

Poll December's Retro Game of the Month

I'll be like a Taiwanese gamer on a three day binge with Breath of Wild and Phantasy Star IV this weekend. The fridge is stocked. The beer is cold. The scotch is neat. Great way to welcome in December.

Poll December's Retro Game of the Month

I am not using save states or guides for the games we are choosing. I'm sure next month we'll pick a Japanese design from hell game to make me rethink my life choices.

My mom played this one when I was a kid all the time and beat it. As I go back through some of them now, I'm looking at you Milon's Secret Castle, I wonder how we did it. Patience is all I can think of.

Retro Game of the Month November 2017: Soul Blazer (SNES)

I should have beat it last night but quit on the fifth "level". I was having to do some back tracking and trying to go for completionist was killing me on the emblems which as Tanoomba pointed out, meant jack all in the scheme of things. Pros: Music, art, and building up the town was all very...

Retro Game of the Month November 2017: Soul Blazer (SNES)

Mario Odyssey has been taking up my time - both good and bad on that front. Going to bootup the retropie and crank this one out for the rest of the week.

    Super Mario Odyssey

I've always liked Nintendo first party and have owned each system. However, the extra push to have 800+ moons, or whatever number it is ultimately going to be as I'm at 650, is really killing it for me. Finding a moon because I put on the right outfit is tedious and don't get me started on...

Alaska via Cruise or land tour?

My parents did the same and they are in their 50s as well. I figured my dad wouldn't be the cruise sort, he likes to explore on land like you are saying, but he really liked it and said they got a lot of time everyday to go out and about. I believe it was around 14 days and cost him $3200 for...

    Battery operated lawn equipment?

I have all the EGO stuff. Mower works great for what I have as a lawn - small front yard in Phoenix area. 56V and no problems on time - roughly an hour depending on length and other factors. Quarter acre lot or bigger might need a couple batteries.
