    Ashes of Creation

I’m a stickler for intellimouse style gaming mice. Last time I used a mega sized mouse was a trackball in the 80s. My current one has 2 side buttons, but it’s too easy to fat thumb them, so I primarily just bind the forward button.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Yoshi P states that they had experimented with making it trust system compatible, but ran into issues and admitted that it would take a complete rehaul to update it/change it heavily. As such, it’s on their wishlist, but lower priority

    The Umbrella Academy

Rural Texas in the early 60s? The husband had massive amounts of legal power. The only evil thing he did was threaten to send his kid to a state psychiatric facility as leverage. Wife was unhappy, he was mostly fine because she was doing the typical mid/early 20th century housewife bit.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

That is what used to happen. When I was brand new to the game, Lahabrea was dead and I was still on the Nero part. Bonus makes it worth it, though. 50-60% of a level for your alt? Yes please

Bill & Ted Face the Music

Ya, outside of Bill and Ted, pretty much everyone had fairly shallow parts...but that isn't too fundamentally different than the previous 2 films.

    Tenet (2020)

That video quality is about on par with the projected background they used to have during car chase scenes in movies from the early 60s.

    Ashes of Creation

I thing I hate most about action RPGs is they are almost controller required or require far too many hotkeys to be viable on your keyboard. Like you're using WASD and your mouse to move, but then also have to be pressing like 2 dozen skill buttons.

    Recovering old EQ characters

It would feel weird coming back now and all your gear is trash lol. I'm guessing even "one of a kind" things have made their way back into the game in one form or another, like Sleeper Robes and Guise of the Deceiver.

    Black Panther (2018)

Boseman headlined one film and figured prominently in 2 others, so it is a bit harder. It isn't like an Iron Man situation where Terrance Howard got the boot and they brought in Cheadle as a replacement for Warmachine. Boseman died, so you have to toe that fine line between respecting the...

    Black Panther (2018)

Really tragic considering how young he was. I do wonder how they'll continue the IP, since BP2 seemed to be a lock, but now they'll have to completely rewrite the script if one already existed.

Bill & Ted Face the Music

I agree with that review: not on the level of the first 2 films, but it was enjoyable. It’s definitely a Bill&Ted movie and the daughters are the B plot, but it works and the characters are likable (the daughters are basically giant music nerds, but can’t really play instruments, just remix...

    Altered Carbon

Each season was sort of that way, although season 1 did feel more self-contained. S2 was more open with 2 Kovaks out there and them hinting that they would be continuing the whole "fight the power" thing.

    Altered Carbon

If Cyberpunk 2077 becomes a big hit, I would imagine that might inspire some shows and assist in securing funding, much in the same way the Witcher games got the TV show greenlit.

Season 2 was ok. It did feel like a downgrade from S1 though.

I was watching Strippin play this. He played the earlier version and he thinks the game getting paired down to 3 skills and no lock on is them potentially looking at a mobile port of the game.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Ya the Lanys vs Firiona Vie event. The finale was in Kithicor where Innoruk shows up and all sorts of high level shit spawned. They also spawned them in the assling city. Zone completely crashed from all the lag and corpses. On our server it duped all the corpses, so the guides kicked...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

EQ1's "zomg lose corpse forever" fear wasn't very long lived. It didn't take long for them to add mechanics that more or less made it much lower risk: Planes popping empty, summon corpse, people figuring out safe spots and corpse dragging/vox res stick recharges. I recall like maybe 1 or 2...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

C4’s range is bullshit in terms of blast radius, but trapping vehicles is a legit tactic. I do it all the time: bait vehicle you know someone will take the BOOM. Mines can work well too if you can hide them.

    Lucifer

Budget wise the show can't be as bad as some of the more special effect heavy shows, so it's (presumably) a pretty economical pick for Netflix in the scheme of things if it brings in the viewers. The Youtube trailers racked up some pretty respectable numbers and they've been willing to go 3...
