That's from latency or you not paying attention to the mob cast bar. The ability fires when the cast bar ends. Some times the telegraph continues to stay there for a bit. Damage generally has a delay but captures what happened when the cast bar finished.

I turned that off ages ago and it helped immensely. If you are mid ability it won't turn you but if you start a new ability it will.

Last night was awful. I logged off early. SMN is still a pet class. You just don't have to micro manage your pet in the same way. Instead of having the pet skills on your pet bar they put them in your spellbook. It just makes it more fluid for newer players.

In general I try to succor before every big hit so my other healer doesn't have to struggle. Perhaps that's where we differ. I generally hover around 50 percent Mana unless I have to Rez.

I have MP issues on my SCH all the time. If you aren't running out of MP you aren't pressing enough buttons. Just casting Broil will get you below 80 percent. The whole truck to healing in this game is Mana management. There isn't much else to it.

This is going away slowly. Limit requires no alts and method requires like 1 or 2 now. You may need to sit during progress if you don't have the right toon geared though. Things are changing though

All the dps are with in 15 percent of the number 2 dps. AST and Dancer padding is a pretty big deal. I would take most things with a grain of salt. Like one of the top runs when I checked it last week had like 4 dragoons. I just wish there was a way to turn off all padding skills. Like...

One day FF logs will have a way to separate external buffs. Until that time anything on that list is always suspect. People always end up using the single target buffs from other classes on what ever the meta tells them is awesome.

The AST changes are fine. The card you were always fishing for was the dps gain anyways. The little minigame of trying to find the right suits for your aoe dps increase is cool. I've found the actual healing from AST to be lacking. I just got the 76 skill so maybe that changes it but so far...

If you buy the skip you don't actually gain anything because you will grind at least a little bit. The MSQ from the last expansion usually gives as much or more per hour then grinding. If you wanna throw money out the window go for it but the story skip is never worth it.
