Most of the top tier decks will incorporate thoughtseizes. The card is just to good for controlling a game. Any person keeping a hand because they got one great card will be very disappointed with this block and quickly realize that they need to keep the average hands that play well to start.

No mention of PAX, but they will be at DragonCon. Regretfully they will not have the game there like they did for Gencon. There will be developers there to answer questions and such, but not even sure which developers.

I am betting the PvE will not be ready for testing until December or even next year. The game itself is not due to release until at least Spring of 2014, so I suspect the PvE is what will hold up the release.
