You guys really make a lot of assumptions and have way too much certainty and surprise.

I really doubt that undercover LEOs typically hold heavy backpacks.

You can but it's not trivial. just search for warband import companions. Be sure to backup your files and saves

Both situations are possible. But I think it's more likely that there's one person per bomb.

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

I feel like the only way you could escape after doing this is if you caught a flight outside the US immediately after detonation. And if you went overseas I can only assume that when you got to immigration you'd be taken there. I just don't see how it'd be possible to drop off a package in an...

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

I think it'd be impossible to do a drop and local detonation without being caught. The only way you could get away with it would be to set up us the bomb long before the crowds arrived, and apparently they did a bomb sweep that would have almost certainly caught the kind of bomb that was used.

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

Yep. People need to remember that we're a country with a innocent until proven guilty ideology. And I am sure that law enforcement won't simply stop working to investigate leads because they've made one arrest.

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

What they did was trivial. Getting away cleanly is much harder than detonating a bomb in a crowded area and all the security was not being used to protect against bombing (Which would've involved sectioning off the area and checking baggage).

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

Sounds pretty easy tbh. edit: I also like how you needlessly injected the size of the event but left out how they didn't detonate at the peak of the crowds.

    The Elder Scrolls Online

Yep. This isn't true at all of single player games, but in MMOs if there isn't extensive open betas with visible end-game content then it's probably going to be a shitshow.

I only hope that this half-assed analysis doesn't lead to people's facebooks/lives being attached to these suspicious images. There has to be a lot of angry people in Boston right now.

I agree on all three points. link to the imgur that article is about: http://imgur.com/a/sUrnA That scruffy guy in red holding his backpack looks innocent. Those guys leaving with their backpacks look real guilty now. How much evidence is required to get a warrant to...

Tap those brakes bro, you're suffering from confirmation bias. Whether the person responsible for it has an agenda that meets your hopes has no bearing on the fact that you're assuming harder than you should.

I'm not arguing for or against anything, but I will point out that sometimes when I have a backpack in a crowded space I hold it like that to avoid theft and hitting people with it.

    Path of Exile

Yep. I've heard talk of them implementing a web-based auction house and implementing offline trading (Which I'm guessing would be like WoW's email system where you can send someone an item and require a gold payment for receipt of that item), but that's all just inefficient forms of an...

    The Elder Scrolls Online

That was pretty much what the TES fans were hoping for. Skyrim with networking code and player ownership of stuff. What's funny is that it would be a very interesting 'expansion', but it'd probably be much harder than it looks to add a good network layer to it.

Yeah I agree that people horde currency. When I say least efficient I mean that people are likely to horde currency and loot. I think almost every person in the game, including me, has a stash full of currency they can't be hassled to spend and a stash full of gear no one can be hassled to...

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

I also think that, to an extent, watching the tv show every week gives someone an opportunity to guess and surmise about the show's direction. It'd be interesting if GRRM adopted the manga style delivery system of say, giving one perspective/chapter per week or two.

Yeah I knew something was going to happen but I was only 90% sure she wasn't going to lose one of her dragons (And 100% sure she wasn't going to lose the only one the books paid attention to). But I didn't expect her to just say 'ok unsullied, we have the city lol' like people in the thread are.

    Mount & Blade - A Clash of Kings 2.0 Releasing March 28th!

Ah, 33 is nothing. iirc my cost per shadow legion was 2, lol. And I had thousands of prestige. In my last playthrough where I was a one lord kingdom I think I had about 15 fortress/cities with shadow legion orders in them, so I had more shadow legion than I knew what to do with. Maybe I'll...

    Mount & Blade - A Clash of Kings 2.0 Releasing March 28th!

I looked at the patch notes, the change was: "Renown costs for Order knights increased a lot and depend on relations as well as honor" How bad is it now? For me the prestige cost was negligible since I had so much prestige. They'd have to increase it an order of magnitude for me to even...

So I'm trying to buy an Eye of Chayula. From what I can tell the 'market price' is 1ex(so 6ish GCPs). I look and there's about 30 people selling chayulas. Mount & Blade - A Clash of Kings 2.0 Releasing March 28th!

Regarding orders/silvermist/archers, my preferred archers are the doomguides (http://pop3.wikia.com/wiki/Doomguide) because: 1. They're fantastic archers (using noldor weapons, 400 archery, 9 horse archery). 2. They're mounted. 3. Their melee weapon is universally the doom mace, which means...

The optimal weapons for sieges are : A. One handed (So you can use a shield, arrows are the big threat in sieges) B. Around a 110 length (So you are blocked by a minimal amount of walls/friendlies/shields/weapons, but it's still long enough to outrange most enemies when you're kiting) C. As...
