As far as hobbies go it's pretty difficult. It's a niche hobby, requires some specific tools that take effort to find, requires actual skill to produce anything useful and you need a somewhat isolated environment to do it in (As in you have to live in the country or you'll upset your neighbors)...

1 second is an eternity. He intentionally cranked that lock after he noticed the ref stopped the fight.

You're right, it's a pretty dumb idea. You'd have people downloading 10GB of data off your servers and then dying in 2 minutes.

In the gif I posted you can clearly see Palhares see the ref stop the fight and he holds onto it and even rolls with it. The guy is genetically built to get leglocks on people and has probably gotten tens of thousands of taps on leglocks. He knows exactly what he's doing.
