I forgot to mention we saw a good bit of wildlife on our trip. Two moose, two black bears, and a beaver. The black flies were really nasty this year, so I think that was driving them to the edges of the forest.

We're always looking for ways to pack less gear, but one thing that is never taken off the gear list is the outdoor fryer. We usually toss em in some fish crisp and deep fry that shiz. If we want to get fancy we cook them over the fire wrapped in tinfoil with onions and lemon.

I'm getting some really weak framerates on my old PC. Like it'll drop to 15-20 FPS if there's lots going on. I wonder how much better my game skills would be if I could maintain at least 60 fps.
