Except that 1 mana creatures that generate the mana themselves while susceptible to removal also don't require a 3rd land in hand, which is significant. There's a reason people would play 4-8 1 mana dorks and most golos decks run 2 or 3 Grazers.

Grazer is hardly ridiculous. It's way more situational than all the other ramp cards since it doesn't ramp on it's own since it requires a land in hand.

It's definitely slow, but I love long limited games with tons of options and complicated board states.

Not sure it really needs to be banned. Compare it to say, Valukut which was much harder to interact with and the ramp cards of that era were much better than they are currently and it never got hit. Loss of Blood Sun hurts but hyper aggro tends to be very good against the field decks as well...

Yeah, I'd imagine low level groups are just rare at this point. Mercs aren't until Seeds of Destruction which is still pretty far out.

I mean the server is definitely top heavy. It takes like 20-30 minutes to do the tutorial and hit level ~ 10 with what's essentially a reskinned set of crude defiant armor. most alts get PLed so there's not a lot of low level groups probably. but the xp is real dumb fast so nobody stays low...

Sanderson Mat was terrible.

I mean that's almost always how it works early in a format. That said, it runs a lot of actually powerful cards so it'll probably be a "real" deck the whole time.

R/G aggro has been real good, may not still be good once everything else gets optimized, but it's doing work right now.
