Modern cards have to also be Standard legal when they're printed, at least under the current format definition. They need to ban cards until aggro is viable. Robots doesn't count, that's a combo deck that attacks.

I've played this game for 20 years and I don't get the fascination with eternal formats. Unless you have a serious fetish for Brainstorm/Daze/FoW then why fucking bother?

If you do any kind of watching streams or streaming yourself while gaming, i7 is worth the extra money. The 4790k is one sweet chip for the money with a decent cooler bolted onto it.
