If it's just tacked on to cards that playable anyways or close to it, surveil will be real strong. If Surveil 1 is on some 4 mana shit that should be 2 mana without it, it's going to be shit. There's probably some of both and the same sort of thing is going to happen with the other mechanics.

The only time something like that works is when you have a good QB on his rookie contract. After that it's hard to pay a non QB big dollars, pay your QB and maintain depth on your roster.

Guild Leader decided to throw in the towel and a number of key players left and then it snowballed pretty fast from there. Most people that have decided to keep playing are in other guilds now, mostly OGC or EoE with a few in other guilds.

It's all part of the micro vs macro thing too. In an individual game variance is a pretty big factor, but over a lot of games less so. There's a reason matches are best of 3 and often at larger events some of the big matches at the end are often best of 5.
