Yes, the Norton MCU one. I agree it's not a bad movie and that's sort of the whole point. The worst MCU movies are still pretty decent movies. Venom is not a good movie. Being better than Suicide Squad and Catwoman doesn't make it good.

Better than most of the DC stuff, but even Hulk and Thor 2 are probably better than this movie. If the MCU didn't exist it would probably be a passable comic book movie but it does so we're allowed to have some standards now.

In fairness the trailer made me want to watch Lost Boys again even if it didn't make me want to watch this show.

Loaded teams all have some part of their team that's dramatically underpaid. You can't really be a top contender if everyone is getting paid full market value.

Some of that CGI is jarring in how bad it is.

The thing is in many ways this series is much more "high fantasy" than Game of Thrones. I mean GoT has dragons, which is obviously a thing, but WoT has a lot of shit. Trollocs, Fades, Draghkar and lots of other stuff. I just can't imagine it will have enough of a budget to do all that stuff...

I'm kind of sceptical with how much crazy shit happens. Unless it's budget dwarfs Game of Thrones budget at least for CGI not sure how it'll work.
