    Paladins quest was another good one that kinda flew under the radar due to the setting, but I agree that it grows on you. I wouldn't say its as grindy as 7th Saga unless you're a completionist and want to max all your spells.

    He slices her in the original, but it's assumed she survived. Here, he's stating he flat out kills her. The original never insinuated anything was done to her by Shinra and/or sephirith/jenova for her to recover or be brought back to life similarly to Cloud
