For solo-leveling, it felt useful to pick up some level of Conjurer for Cure+Protect, and some levels of Monk for their version of Mend I can't remember the name of.

The extremely low-level city quests give next to no exp (the whole town gets you to level 3, which you can basically do by just killing shit for a minute outside), but they do give you a decent shot int he arm of starting Gil. Which you'll need, since one of the first low level main story...

The interrupt mechanic was a nice idea, rewarding dumb dps players by giving them a +DPS cookie for successfully interrupting was a good training method.

Apparently they went through and redid a lot of the perks to make leveling gameplay feel smoother, and increased exp/money from Missions. New newbiezone has a direct portal to Temple of the Four Winds, so that's nice. Still no updates on the graphics overhaul, despite them "working on videos"...

I am extremely amused by the 80% damage cap for Obliterate in PVP. If they wanted slow, heavy hitting melee specs, they should have gone about it like that in the Mastery. +% Obliterate/Mortal Strike Damage... against 1m+ Max Health Targets.
