Well, the daily gathering is mostly so that you can skip a zone ahead earlier on Draenor and have less competition for quests. You get a pretty big chunk of EXP turning all that shit in with Whee!//Garrison Potion. You do like 30 minutes of leveling in the course of 2 minutes of turning in...
Grabbed the Whee! buff and camped my character above the dark portal. Now for a little 4 day break from WoW before launch week craziness. Trying to decide just how crazy I want to go on alts in the first two weeks to try to get my barn rolling blood-chances as soon as possible. If you're...
Even if 90% of the CM boxes are gold, I'm still doing it every day until raid unlocks. Same with Heroic Mode dungeons for chances at Warforged/Gems/Movespeed. The random dude who shows up to the first scheduled raid wearing 75% last-zone quest rewards has all of my hate.
Especially when...
It's very easy. You pay a couple hundred gold and 100-300 garrison resources at the architect table to replace a building with another one. If you haven't used the new building before, you'll generally have a few set-up quests to do, but they're generally rather short.
You have 18 days to get bloods, with alts on the barn (and gathering professions giving you Primals that can be turned in for more blood) that's more than enough to make 215 Work Orders you'll need to get the achievement and 90 blood. You need to do about 12 Work Orders a day at that pace...
Also, the Crafted Weapon is lower iLVL than the Crafted Armor, which is annoying. You'll still want to craft it before you start raiding... you'll just replace it immediatly, which is frustrating, especially if you dual wield. So many bloods pissed down the drain.
Nothing is soulbound except Recipes. So you want to level your crafting alts early to start doing their daily recipe token acquisition, but that just means taking ~6 hours of launch week pushing all of your profession mules up to cap, less if you only actually care about a select few (for...
That's how it determines what tier you're at for rewards, not when the missions themselves will appear. That's tied to your followers' gear ilvl.
If you haven't done any raids, it provides the lowest raid tier of loot. If you are actively doings raids, it provides the next tier up from what...
My small buildings are based on being double gathering. There's no real reason to have a Production prof. on your main, since your profession alts can access their tradeskill buildings with like, 1.5h of leveling time. Your main will be the character in the world, running around, doing stuff...
Since getting Followers to level 100/Epic/ilvl640 is very important for the chance at random raid loot before raids unlock, my initial week layout is going to be:
LARGE:
-Barracks [Patrol Missions are the highest exp per time follower mission, get dem followers to 100/Epic Quality]
-Dwarven...
Buy some Potions of Luck. Slaughter Mogu in Valley of Eternal Blossoms, vendor the greens (or disenchant them and sell the disenchant mats if you have an Enchanter), sell the cloth. Once you have ~60 Keys, go down the left-branch of Guo-Lai Halls and chain-open chests in the final room. If...
Also remember to grab the Dwarven Bunker/War Mill building for your garrison while leveling, since it doubles your chance of having your quest rewards bump up to Purple quality, which can get you some upgrades earlier than expected in the leveling process.
Can't decide whether Treasure Cruise ruined my Mono(Ish) Black Control Infect Modern deck's games, or made it more hilarious. Hate it when I play against it, since it's pretty much always "I top decked an ancestral recall," but it is amazing for restocking removal/discard on turn 4.
The...
Dial Up modem loading you into the ocean zone so slowly that the boat was already sailing away when you finally loaded in so you fell into the sea was pretty sweet too.
The last day I used the farm was like, a year ago. My field turned up All-Tentacles one day and I was like "Nope, fuck it." Hoping it grows into an Old God one day.
4 months of 25 man raiding and recruiting has lead to 4 decent players being found for my guild's mythic roster ~_~
I'd call our Hunters potatoes, but that's not fair; potatoes have eyes, and despite lack of legs would likely be better at evading fight mechanics.
I look forward to the...
Mythic Garrosh is easier than normal garrosh was pre-patch if your DPS aren't naked picking their noses. Shit's embarassing. Only reason I couldn't see doing it with the build-a-group tool is that some idiot would get malice on himself and run out of the group, because that's what you do with...
As DW frost you use one of your orphan Unholy Runes to plague strike every 60s (alternating with Outbreak), and spec Plague Leech to strip your diseases for 2 Death Runes when the diseases are about to run out.
The one plague-strike per minute doesn't even really futz with your obliterating...
We killed heroic garrosh at max raid size about 20 times last night, feels like a 20% drop rate on Heirlooms. Finally got our DK tank his Tusks off of bonus rolls, as well. That's one Transmog slot locked out for a loooong time
Still no bloody 1h Str Sword heirlooms.
Stat squish has killed that era of leveling. Low-to-Mid level mobs are improperly squished. Shit like -20% health and -10% damage to the NPCs while players got -90% damage and -50% survivability. The first trash pack of instances is wiping groups in full heirloom gear now.
Wrong emphasis, the game'll be what they plug you into while you're on life support! And it will have PVP with Real Consequences, in order to keep Medicare costs down...
Netrunner, Jyhad, Magic, hell, even Battletech's initial set-up was good, except for the dice. The expansion derpsign team did a pretty good job of wrecking it, adding even more dice-reliant shit.
Dice in CCGs; Not Even Once.
I keep looking at my alt whose 4 secrets and 12 runestones away from being finished and just assuming the RNG gods will shit on me and I'll miss it by 1 runestone. the week before patch. The weird thursday expansion drop means you have 6 shots at it including this week.
