Beat the second boss, top of the world, time to expand! Go and establish a foothold on a new area, find the merchant, cool!
Once we realized it was a relatively small island (though resource rich, may setup another smelting op there), we decided to sail off to find new biomes.
Found swamp...
Finally got copper. It's a whole new game.
Unless I'm missing something else about that image, you probably need to build scaffolding to support the roof you're building, can then maybe take it down after.
We're enjoying the game a lot and progressing super slowly (primarily when the 3 of us are on, otherwise I bring the server up and farm when it's just 1-2 of us).
My problem is I can't find any damn copper deposits. I've seen screenshots of the deposits, and I've seen large stones that seem...
Loosely related, I hate this Youtube channel. They make 'concept' trailers that get spread all over the place and the algorithm spams them to me because it's similar to content like Emergency Awesome and actual interesting content.
Watched @Xevy play this for a bit last night while I made the noob mistake of building my first home next to a formation of stones that spawned the first boss. Oops.
I hated Freddy Price, especially with all the Securo Serve stuff, but just prior to that is still my favorite times of GTARP over on FamilyRP. Sentry's characters, a great police force w/ Mason, Finkone, Xiceman, Five0, etc.
I've wanted to get into RP, but always used not being familiar w/ a given server's mechanics as a reason not to. I've been whitelisted in NoPixel for years and never really messed with it outside of participating in some of the stress tests. With 3.0 I imagine the server will go back to...
It's just my friends, we've peaked at a dozen a few years ago, but are usually around 8. Not a big production or anything, usually haul all our gear to a friend's place for ~4 days.
So fresh out of an annual LAN this weekend (virtual this year of course), we played the following:
Age of Empires 3 - we've had some crashing issues lately, frustrating
Company of Heroes 2 - a staple for years in my group
Deep Rock Galactic - this gets stale quick for me, so I just play me...
You can 'claim' the collection games to your library, so I wonder if those will remain when they inevitably roll off or they discontinue the instant game collection again.
Factorio is the better game, but I tend to prefer Satisfactory, more new things I haven't gotten into yet and don't have to worry about maintaining defenses to play casually (unless I neuter aggression and I prefer to play on default settings if I'm going to play Factorio).
2 very different...
Yeah but now you have learned what a Dyson Sphere is... right?
Picked it up this weekend but haven't gotten into it yet. Wish I could play it with friends, it would have a chance to bump Satisfactory out of this weekend's LAN.
In case any missed it, here's the post-credit scene from the final episode of season 1. It's not really that spoilery, since it doesn't really disclose any plot details for the most part, but will tag it anyways.
This news didn't last the day before being revervsed, and on top of that F2P games will no longer require Gold.

Yeah, it is what it is, I look forward to playing whenever the opportunity presents itself. All a wash if the end result is a game worth playing, I'll take it.
