Me too, that's why was asking. I actually found that VSCode's remote extension supports WSL very similarly to how it does ssh, so I'm using that. Got my snappy ctrl e and ctrl shift f back.

Which is worse? VSCode running natively in WSL but displaying on Windows via X11. VSCode running natively on Windows but accessing a sandbox in WSL via network mount.

Learning to aim your sprints and dodge rolls is the true endgame to PoE2. Run the Dreadnaught end to end without getting stuck on the terrain. The irony is that this ends up closer to PoE1 movement skills.

At this point, I'm looking for any build that can improve upon character mobility. This whirling assault build has screen wide coverage and stun, only tanky Abyss rares survive the stun. I guess that means Pathfinder?

Been trying a bunch of stuff through the campaign. Whirling Assault(cookie cutter Titan with Surround hat and Brass Dome) has felt the least shitty so far. If you feel so motivated, you can interrupt it with a dodge roll so that you aren't locked into all 7 attacks, which I actually like...

Since we're on a retirement tangent....if you have an IRA account full of VTSAX, is it worth converting that to ETFs? I'm trying to max out my IRA contribution limit and 401k contribution limit but I'm new to ETFs. Any reason not to use them and avoid the 0.04% expense ratio on VTSAX?

Runes were supposed to replace the crafting bench. They were (too?) common in 0.2. Too rare in 0.3. Still too rare in 0.4, I'm not even sure they adjusted the drop rate. Some lesser runes still go for multiple exalts at this point. Mind bottling.

PoE1 is the best arpg if you're willing to put in the time and learn the systems. I don't care much for PoE2. It has some appealing aspects that nowhere near make up for the years of self sabotage GGG has inflicted on the better game.
