I'm just talking from a presentation point of view of the UI, animations, graphics, environments. I'll ignore gameplay for now. Then again, we've seen more gameplay from the two shooters than we have from TESO.

The problem is that they now have to compete with Destiny and The Division. From the videos we've seen, they are soooooooooo far away from that just from a visual point of view.

I never played EQ2 past level 20 because I didn't have enough fingers. However when I was trying to dive in and see what the end game was like, I saw all those tiers of stuff and I just quit. Fuck figuring all that shit out, it's not like the game is that great to begin with.

The proof will be in how good their textures are. I can like cartoon style of graphics, but I like to see some good detail and lightning in them.

Dude, Eq is nearly a direct rip of the diku mud sojourn which I played in the early to mid 90s. It also might be a shock to you that brad played this game extensively as well. Now if you convince me that diku is a sandbox I'll admit that I'm wrong.
