Well, I forgot how unlucky I am when it comes to getting failstacks. Basically pissed away 60m buying some +14 stuff on the AH and trying to use it to get some stacks and never made it past 20 in 5 tries.

Did they ever add a way to send loot to special deals if you're grinding solo?

It takes me about an hour per act, maybe a little longer on my first character. Speed mostly comes down to being familiar with the map layouts, especially in the bigger zones, and whether or not you choose to rush through it or pace yourself and kill more mobs/clear the zones.

If you ever think you can compete in one of the races just start one of the leagues at launch and compare your level to the level you see popping up on the notifications for first. If you can stay within 1-3 levels of them, you might have a chance if you can poopsock harder/longer. Just doing...

My personal opinion is that all those "how to level to 70 in 4 hours with x skill" type stuff is bad for new players and only useful for experienced players. @Kirun you can go fast with almost every skill/build in the game. How much experience do you have with PoE and the different skills...

If you play a decent amount, getting to uber elder isn't very hard or grindy. If you only play a few hours a week, yes, you probably won't get there (or shaper or uber atziri etc.)

PoE is a lot closer to Diablo 2 progression/char development style than it is to Diablo 3. You don't change builds as you level up, you pick a build and work towards that (whether that be with the low level skills or the skills you don't get til level 28). You don't need a 6link to do...
