Uhh, most stuff is actually cheaper than it used to be. Most of the grind guides are based around having better gear than 91/112, partly because you didn't used to be able to get to level 53 in 4 hours of grinding. Just grind stuff you actually can until your gear gets a bit better (+15)...

It's different from Blade n Soul but I liked the combat in both games. Coming in late doesn't matter as long as you don't care about being competitive in pvp. I came back and enjoyed myself again for a couple weeks but I just don't have it in me to try playing catch-up.

I mean, I literally haven't blown myself up on a volatile in a LONG time and I play a ton of melee builds. The only times they HAVE one shot me has been when it's a high hp mob on a extra dmg + -max map.

Yeah AV and xigncode don't play nice, if that's not the issue not sure what might be, maybe one of the graphic settings. I don't remember if trying to force certain things through the graphics card settings instead of in-game settings can cause problems for this game, i've known of other games...

pmsproxy and ghillieguytv. I dunno, I have to agree with Kiroy. I haven't been watching the new server any really but when I was watching Eli/Buddha mostly and a couple others before, he came off pretty much exactly how Kiroy is saying.

Some classes can clear mobs faster with worse gear and always have been able to... Unless you are literally 1shotting every mob on every spawn in your rotation instantly when they respawn, every new person that shows up is going to be gimping your grind. Some grind spots are about item drops...

I thought it might be the anti-virus/firewall stuff but I turned all of that off for a couple games and still did it. It's all game long, not just during fights, it does it while i'm in the fountain too. Speed tests no issues and it never hiccups in any other games or streaming or anything...

I dunno why but last few weeks my ping fucking constantly bounces from 35 to 210 every few seconds, makes it almost impossible to play well. It'll be like 10s at 35ms, then it goes 85/135/210/170/140/80/50 back to 35 for 5-10more seconds, rinse and repeat forever. I get zero lag playing...
