Tower of God has started up again, can find up to chapter 567 I think. Its pretty good. Yuri is back and stronger, but she immediately gets sidelined by Gustang's daughter... while Bam is just kicking the shit out of everyone else. Apparently Gosu and The Boxer are getting anime adaptations...

I think that will be the endgame though, or a facet of the endgame for sure. If the nightmare versions of these dungeons do not change up the experience enough interest will die off a lot faster.

The section leading up to the introduction of the other Uppers was superbly done; animation, direction and music. Great.

Does the Shades difficulty scale up with the distance from the center? Reason I ask is that the first time I fought it, I had no issues with the fight. Next time, and I don't recall how much further away from the center I was at that time, I got my ass beat down... like zero chance of winning...

This season is pretty good!

Started playing this a week before the first D4 beta weekend. I really like the underlying systems the game is built on, but damn.. its all so ugly, the presentation of it all just sucks, imo. Yet, past that, the game is fun. Maybe a bit too close to PoE though. Only reason I'm still playing...

I think the early access content is going to be very limited, like 1 map with randomly placed mobs / items, with 1 boss.

Is there a better item database site to look for items than this place: Last Epoch Item Database I was looking up Staves and they didn't have a complete list of Uniques, as I have 2 in my stash that are not shown on the their list.

Hell's Paradise and Heavenly Delusion both started well.

Ingame performance was quite a bit worse for the open beta weekend vs. pre order weekend. Quite a bit of rubberbanding and getting hung up on zone crossings.

Probably start trying 10-15m before official opening. I wouldn't expect to play much today due queues and server crashes as several hundred thousand ppl try to get on, lol. Edit: I'll trying to get on both PC and PS5 today, I imagine the PS5 will have an easier time.

Barb, at lvl25 (of 100), was very gear dependent. Once you got gear with the perks you wanted, the Barb felt fine. It certainly wasn't as strong out of the box as Sorc. Making sweeping judgements about the game seems a bit pointless, and just comes off as looking for something to criticize...

I really dislike what this game calls "respec"..its the worst respec system I've encountered. To take a point in your Skill tree(s) from 1 skill to another requires that you give up that 1 skill point and then re lvl the skill to gain a new point to place it where you wanted. That system seems...

I like the game simply because it has Fireball Explosion passive, and the Artillery Shrine. Someone one that dev team knows about fun.

Was running the Derelict Lodge this morning, ran across a "Mutterlock Chest", which had you select from a list of phrases. Picked the wrong one of course, since I couldn't find anything online about it (Vemp di palox).

Think so, I alt-tabbed and then I was able to skip again.

I guess my only complaint so far, up to lvl15, is not being able to skip all dialogue that pop up. It seemed I could in the newbie area, but now all the main quests / side quests force me to listen to their dialogue. Pressing space or LMB does nothing now.

Running a 3060 here, high settings, 120-150 fps so far, no stutters. Turned on dlss balanced to test, same fps

Watching Modz on my tv while PC is in queue, he is running around some town hub. Game looks fine, really decent actually, but I don't know if it's Twitch ory tv, but it looks like 30fps or lower. Modz is seeing 120+fps though.

I wouldn't worry too much about what we saw in that vid. It was for the Xbox, and couch co-op, there is an older gameplay vid of Rogue showing the same dungeon and that looks just fine on PC.

Are the imperfections seen in the AI generated stuff here there on purpose, especially the hands/fingers? Not sure how those can get fucked up so consistently.

Watched some of the raid streams, still the same D2 raid formula; kill trash, solve puzzle, wait for boss to give you a way to kill it. Nice graphics though.
