Since the reset I've seen heroic PE's spawn a new yellow bar mob at the end of the event; a giant shank for the double fallen walkers, and giant knight for the heroic hive on Titan.

You can keep using the purples, you'll just need to do some Milestones that reward Powerful engrams and/or do an exotic weapon quest (if you haven't yet) to get a boost; then you should start to get blues that you can infuse into your purples for small gains; once those are capped, do another...

I'm split about the strikes, for xbox at least. I like Inverted Spire, Pyramidion and Savathun's Eye strikes, but the other two suck. Edit: I agree about the criticism for gear being boring, I had hoped that Mods would spice things up, especially for weapons, but nope. All the weapon perk mods...

I agree that the old system was way better, and I felt this new system was shit... until I had put some time into the game. Now, it just isn't an issue, except for the rarity of Suros Modular Shine.

Hm, I recall the description saying it refilled ability (melee, nades, rift) energy per mob tethered. When I was using them, I still only got like 3 shots off, maybe 4?

Yea, I think gear within the main story does not scale, but the gear from after story quests will (like the exotic you get from Zavala).

I would think there should be, but we don't have any numbers to see. I'd like know how good the Class Ability mod is vs. Melee / Grenade mods. Also, has anyone seen a mod for the Kinetic weapons themselves? I've seen zero, and the only weapon specific mods I've seen have been for Element damage...

Getting a sparrow with instant summon is great. Really hope they expand Titan, especially the Arcology section, though I imagine that should come whenever Savathun arrives.

Grind PE's on Nessus tonight since its the Flashpoint, should be well populated. You can hold off on turning in the quest til your level is higher, the "powerful reward" will scale up as your lvl goes up.

I doubt that means the loot drops, rather it is the intended power level that they wanted players to reach.

As your plvl goes up, so will your base plvl drops, not sure where the cutoffs are, but if you hit 271 / 272 you will probably see drops at 266 (including vendors). That range of 265-280 is pretty slow, once you hit 280 though you can boost your plvl with legendary mods, which will boost your...

Right, for some reason I thought I had given my Titan the highest lvl'd weapons, but looking again I had not, so its possible max was higher than 268. oops.

Odd, so having a 281 warlock -does- seem to effect the lvl of drops my titan is getting, or at least increasing the speed at which the base lvl of the drops increases. My titan is only 268, but blues are dropping at 267 already.

So yea, if you make an alt of a different class they won't have the same plvl drops that your main has once they hit 20. Tokens / Resources are account based, as are gunsmith materials.

No, the mod will not transfer, that is why you get an error message if you try to infuse a 260+5 into a 260, since the game will see the 260+5 as a 260 during the infusion attempt.

Once you break 271 or 272 the base lvl of engrams will start to go up, all my engrams atm decode at 273.
