You're also supposed to get vague "additional rewards" for doing stuff in World PVP mode. Expansion launch is going to be a hilarious scrum if the additional awards include a +10%-20% exp modifier or something.

PVP server is the only proper way to experience vanilla wow. The unrelenting torture from 40-60 is what makes hitting level cap feel so good.

Vanguard Necromancer was sweet. Having to harvest body parts from different enemies to equip your pet was a neat mechanical idea. But then, I also liked Anarchy Online, so I may just be entirely too much of a fan of having a lot of equipment slots to manage/math.
