    Guild Wars 2

We're between games, trying to figure out if Archeage, TESO or Wildstar is the next new game. I'm not even sure how close those three games will release. Either way we'll be hitting the next game with the same vigor we did with GW2. I wish PS2 released around now, cause then we'd probably...

Both situations are possible. But I think it's more likely that there's one person per bomb.

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

I feel like the only way you could escape after doing this is if you caught a flight outside the US immediately after detonation. And if you went overseas I can only assume that when you got to immigration you'd be taken there. I just don't see how it'd be possible to drop off a package in an...

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

I think it'd be impossible to do a drop and local detonation without being caught. The only way you could get away with it would be to set up us the bomb long before the crowds arrived, and apparently they did a bomb sweep that would have almost certainly caught the kind of bomb that was used.

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

Yep. People need to remember that we're a country with a innocent until proven guilty ideology. And I am sure that law enforcement won't simply stop working to investigate leads because they've made one arrest.

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

What they did was trivial. Getting away cleanly is much harder than detonating a bomb in a crowded area and all the security was not being used to protect against bombing (Which would've involved sectioning off the area and checking baggage).

Boston Marathon Explosion - Today's Topics: Public Schools

Sounds pretty easy tbh. edit: I also like how you needlessly injected the size of the event but left out how they didn't detonate at the peak of the crowds.

    The Elder Scrolls Online

Yep. This isn't true at all of single player games, but in MMOs if there isn't extensive open betas with visible end-game content then it's probably going to be a shitshow.

Yep. I've heard talk of them implementing a web-based auction house and implementing offline trading (Which I'm guessing would be like WoW's email system where you can send someone an item and require a gold payment for receipt of that item), but that's all just inefficient forms of an...

    The Elder Scrolls Online

That was pretty much what the TES fans were hoping for. Skyrim with networking code and player ownership of stuff. What's funny is that it would be a very interesting 'expansion', but it'd probably be much harder than it looks to add a good network layer to it.

I also think that, to an extent, watching the tv show every week gives someone an opportunity to guess and surmise about the show's direction. It'd be interesting if GRRM adopted the manga style delivery system of say, giving one perspective/chapter per week or two.
