Meh, the resistance thing is not a bad idea. Didnt old school Ultima games have some shit like this? Having to wear certain clothes to be in certain environments and such? It definitely adds depth but it remains to be seen if it just another cumbersome thing you have to deal with.

No thanks! I mean we all loved EQ back in 2000, but the game you are pitching is like EQ on steroids. I want more EQ ish with some modern flavor. You want to push us back into stone age of mmos.

No supposedly the $800K is just to start this shit. (Buy office furniture and PCs and start game design) They will make their own art assets. They will probably need in upwards of $8-10 mil for a full game.

Im not in the position to tell you weather Brad can fund anything himself. Im just going off of past kickstarter campaigns that I have saw and followed. Namely the dudes in Exile. If you feel that everyone should have to contribute millions of their own money to even come to kickstarter...

Well like I said a few pages back, they should of had a kickstarter for the kickstarter. a smaller goal of maybe $300K so they can do the initial shit, and get a pre alpha build running with some of the combat stuff and classes ironed out and maybe one starter zone. And then come back and ask...

Well that Deliverance game, if you watched the KS video, already had a private backer with $1.5 mil invested. Im sure with $1.5 mil privately invested brad would have a workable demo as well. Well hopefully. :0 IMO while Deliverance is a great kickstarter and good example of what it should be...

Lithose is spot on. This is why they should of got on Kickstarter and did some fucking research first. That Jacobs game is the perfect start, another one is Lord British that got his shit funded as well. they should of been experts on how to kick this kickstarter off before they did so.

They should of launched a smaller kickstarter to kickstart their real kickstarter, seriously. Make it be 100K to design an alpha build of a couple of zones with combat and a few NPCs. Thats all it would of took. Then launch a kickstarter with the alpha build now to show that they are serious...
