I think after playing X games in certain (I guess low/lower) solo queue brackets, and not advancing, you should be allowed to queue up with a premade 5 until you advance at least a few and then you can't anymore until sinking back down. Problem solved? Or just paid services to carry people...

It needs player governed leagues with ban lists. I did this in DoTA 1, never looked back, was great times.

If it's a high tech modern EQ, it'll be worth the money. I wouldn't have a problem paying for xpacs hand over fist as they came out and were good. The money is definitely out there if they'll invest for it and build something bad ass. We're tired of wishy-washy repeato-questing games.

This game is going to be so fuckin' hot with a 4th act, xpac and pvp leagues. Hats off to the small dev team in NZ.

I had a lot of fun with it but it took a very soft (WoW) approach to PvP and it could have done huge and awesome things.

Thread is going to go berserk whenever an update is released, can't wait. I'm leaning towards definitely picking it up, even just to get to max level and not miss out on an EQ game launch. Whether or not they hold my sub or I buy xpacs is another matter.

Love that they're making ground (I think) on actually making skill with certain heros a somewhat measurable statistic. It's been one of my favorite parts of this game to follow.

I'm sure there will be an act4 but focuses in open beta will revolve around stability, reading feedback and trying to stamp out cheating and any current bugs. That's a ton of work for a small operation like, well, mostly Chris I think.

I'm not saying you have to play on it, but open source is the way to go to preserve classic EQ.
