I've never really been a fan of the CoD games, I did like the original MW but that's about it. I did dip my toes into it a few months ago for DMZ and it was fun and the game felt good, however, my shit internet with a monthly cap keeps me from keeping up with their weekly 10gb patches.

Game sucks ass until you get some unlocks too. First game I've seen where attachments can completely change the characteristics of a weapon. It can go from a trash heap to a golden god with just a few unlocks. It's an interesting system, but it completely fucks new players.

The aim assist is gnarly for the Console guys. I get dooked on alot by them cause it'll snap to my head.

I think the last game I played HC on was BC2, but I could be wrong. That was a long time ago. They have a lot of colorblind options in the game now, so hopefully that helps. I'd say TTK is about the same. When you shoot someone it feels like a long time, but on the receiving end it feels like...

It's already 1-2 kills as is. First BF game you really can't rebuttal if you start getting shot, it typically means death. It's fast as shit too. There might be hardcore modes in the browser but 50/50 on it having players.

The older ones are very old style and may not live up to the hype. Exodus however is amazing and is on sale for like 8 bucks right now. Highly recommend.

I didn't know about the bot stuff either, the VSS unlock was the worst thing by a long shot in the game (100m+ headshot kills). Would have gone alot easier with bots.

Exodus was incredible.

2042 definitely has the worst maps. I can deal with most, but Manifest sucks dick. The game is almost too fast as well, BF4 is my limit on being able to do quite well and having played both back to back this one feels twice as fast.
