i mean it was basically released as pretty much a raid expansion. even those mid level zones were mostly all shit XP even then.

I mean in OG Velious Velks mobs were all several levels lower initially so it wasn't even an XP zone until they revamped it months and months into the expansion.

I think when it comes to the HoF, you have to compare players to their peers and not just historically. Steroid Era is what it is and Selig was a big part of it and he's in. That could lead you to judge the numbers differently for sure, so saying McGwire or Sosa shouldn't be in because of it...

I liked the Dr. Strange episode as well. The Peggy Carter episode wasn't bad, but the rest are all kind of mediocre mostly. Kind of a shame, was hoping this would be more interesting in general.

Harper went from being overrated a bit to being underrated. It's really pretty interesting how far off the bandwagon people got because of Trout.

PoR has some things that are relevant and even interesting, but Deathknell is just so bad. Auras are cool and the Circle clicks are interesting. However, the nature of Deathknell makes it really awful to come back to with low numbers to farm them later which certainly doesn't help.

This most recent episode was kind of a mess. Also, I don't really care that much about what happens after the end of the episode which isn't a particularly good sign.

I actually think Depths is a good expansion, but PoR is possibly the single worst expansion in EQ and DoN is basically the level 70 version of LDoN.

I think that the level 70 stretch is what actually drives the population of most TLPs into the sewer. POP always has a substantial decline in population, but that also coincides with them releasing new servers and you have a lot of people that just like to start on them all.

Thursday games are usually pretty bad and this was certainly no exception.

The problem with PoP is it's sandwiched between GoD and Luclin which were both expansions with a lot of shit to do. There's some random stuff you can do in PoP besides farming Time, but it's just pretty shallow compared to those 2 expansions.

GoD might be my favorite TLP expansion at least through SoD which is where Phinny was before Selo stoled me. I suspect I'd have really enjoyed UF as well, but still GoD is amazing.

the problem is there's plenty of good moments in those books, it's just that the nynaeve/elayne stuff and the perrin/faille stuff in particular took like 1/3 of a book for more than 1 book instead of just being a handful of chapters. there just needed to be some better editing to consolidate...
